In fairness, comparing what happened in Gaza back in 2016 with the Holocaust is not remotely the same. The situation now is significantly more comparable.
I used to be a Licensed Water Treatment Plant Operator [1986-2010 - PA] ,, and worked in a commercial Environmental testing Laboratory where Lead in drinking water was tested. [2001-2006] and there is one HUGE thing Flint missed in its 'cost savings' efforts:
1) Adjusting the pH water chemistry to go from aggressive to scale-forming by the addition of liquid Sodium Hydroxide [NaOH] at a rate to raise the raw water pH to a point where [along with alkalinity, hardness, dissolved solids, and water temp. Driving the Scale-forming Index to the (+) side.
2) Addition of a Poly Phosphate [AquaMag] as a corrosion inhibitor, like most treatment plants do.
I am so glad you have the power to tell the true without being cancelled.

Not to defend anything else the president of turkey has said but in 2014 there was an Israeli Palestine conflict that resulted in over two thousand deaths the majority of wich were Palestinians.
Right now we are in the midst of repeated Israeli attacks on Gaza. Craig Mokhiber a former director for the UN has stated it as "a textbook genocide". A group being the victim in one situation does not prevent them from being perpetrators in another.

They have concentration camps in Israel for the detainees (which are so crowded they started releasing random people out of them including the Al Shifa hospital director). They had their own contingency plan to deport all Palestinians to Africa (a la the Nazis). They are revenge settling land they don't own in the West Bank because countries are recognizing the Palestinian state. Idk, feels very ethnic cleansing to me

Thanks John for brilliantly calling attention to the lead issue. I lived in a house built almost entirely from asbestos cement and worked as a hot metal typesetter handling molten lead all day. Our union thought that free milk every day was all we needed to stay healthy. Times have changed. I then moved to a country that only started taking the lead out of petrol in the late nineties. By all odds I should be a drooling idiot with asbestosis.
Its funny because theres a theory that the prevalence of violence in rome (think colosseum gladiators) was because the aristocracy had lead plumbing. Rome fell.

We had every type of Lead around us. Metallic, Vapour, Litharge (PbO), Soluble Lead, etc. Every Type.
We had blood tests once a year and always came up High-Normal. I confirmed this with another test through my doctor. The tests agreed very closely.
Looking back on it there were FAR more Incidents of WorkPlace Violence than would be considered Typical.
I had a guy half my size try to smash me with a large electric motor in a fit of rage. Holding myself back was not easy. What a mess. lol

The Erdogan quote is a mistranslation. Theres a quote of the Prophet Muhammad that paradise lies at the feet of mothers, and it's very well known in the Muslim world. He is saying a twist on that. Not that he literally kissed and smelled his mother's feet, but that mothers (e.g. women) have such a high status.
