I didn't properly read the title of the video and I clicked on it thinking it was just an alternate history theory in general but then as I watched I started thinking to myself "this sounds suspiciously a lot like the kaiserreich mod from HOI4" and then I read the title...

The Lustiania was not a random ship. It was a loaded with ammunition and other war materials to be sent to the British Empire. The German encryption has been broken in 1915. House and lord Grey knew a german uboat location and sent the ship into its waters hoping for a German attack.

I feel so stupid. I watched the video without reading the title. I was like, this must be a mistake! Germany didn't win anything in 1919. And then the French government retreating to French Algers was also confusing. I thought that I totally forgot my history for a second xD Oh boy.

Yeah, imo it's better to give Hungary and other "members" of the empire focuses before reworking the existing ones.
AH is complicated, beyond austria devs need to give all member states focus trees in order for the game to work out.

Fun fact the French were actually almost going to lose because the majority of their army was mutinying they only stoped because of the Americans witch gave the troops morale
@OttoVonneBismarque It's actually true, two thirds of the french army were severely wounded or dead, the last remaining third was already planning a mutiny which was only stopped through the arrival of american troops which finally relieved the exhausted and battered french troops. It is assumed that if the war would have lasted only 2 months longer, the western front would have collapsed

Jäger Yoon As an American, no. It was the British blockade that ended the war, the Americans only shortened it. This is why the British blockade being defeated is so important in this timeline. If the Germans were able to get food supplies, and the Americans didn’t come, the two things that needed to happen for the Germans to win, they would’ve won, which is why this timeline says both Happened. Without one or the other, it would’ve still been and entente victory. The British blockade is defeated but the Americans join, entente win, and if the British blockade stays, but America doesn’t join, entente win. It’s only without both can the Germans win.

@@vachagan2007 Codreanu was assasinated long before WW2. After that, people like Hora Sima and Antonescu took over and made it more anti-semitic and... well nazi-like. Before that anti-semitic ideals were only held by a couple members for the Iron Guard.
@@idfk1608 yeah but at Codreanu it was Anti-Hungarian due to the conflicts around Transylvania (which the Hungarians could keep because there was no Treaty of Trianon)
South Persia Rifles fair enough but unlike hitler (who disliked minorities simply based on a superiority complex) most to all of the lands occupied by hungary in transylvania in the mod have a majority romanian population, which to me at least, seems a lot like occupying lands you have no claim to. Only central Transylvania has more hungarians, which is kinda odd.

In my own imagining of how Germany could have won WWI the decisive point would be 1916, in our timeline Germany decided Russia was collapsing and opted to concentrate on the western front, resulting in catastrophic losses on both sides, which Germany was less able to sustain. They panicked and luanched unrestricted submarine warfare, eventually drawing America into the war. If they had instead decided to launch a major assult to finnish off Russia, they could have foisted the treaty of Brest Litovsk on Tsar Nicholas, by the end of 1916, Nicholas who would then have been overthrown and Russia would have descended into chaos - there would likely have still been a revolution from the left but it would probably be a coalition of socialst parties dominated by a left SR/Bolshevik colaition, with a few more radical Mensheviks thrown in. Julius Martov could become president of Russia, while real power would be shared between Lev Kamanev, Maria Spridinova and Leon Trotsky.
Germany and Austria would then have launched offensives in France and Italy much as happens in the video above; with troops freed from the Caucuses and with Entente powers tied up in Europe Turkey could have launched a sucessful counter offensive in the middle east and anexed British oil reserves in western Iran. After defeating France Germany could then launch unrestricted submarine warfare on Britain, with Germany in such a strong position, America would be able to do little but lodge a diplomatic protest. Eventually Britain would agree a peace, it would keep Australia, Canada, New Zealand and India, but sign over all its other colonies to Germany, apart from Egypt which would become a client state of Turkey. Germany would also anex the French and Belgian empires, except for France's north African posessions, which again would become Ottoman puppets. With control over the Suez canal and oil reserves in Azerbaijan and Iran, Turkey would enjoy an economic resurgence, while Austria-Hungary would quickly begin to fragment. Germany would intervene to stop the disintegration of the Austro-Hnugarian empire, and in the process force through an Anchluss anexing the Austrian half of the emipre and turning the Hungarian empire into a puppet state. Germany's next goal would be to integrate its colonial and European empires, to do this they would need to conquer Turkey's north African puppets. Aware of this Turkey would allay itself with the defeated Entente powers, and with the US - who would be furious at Germany's earlier sinking of their ships and deeply worried about this growing European superpower. This would set the stage for WWII. Most difficult to predict would be Russia's alignment, since they would have lost territory to both germany and Turkey, and would have a legitimate quarrel with both states.

@The Nova renaissance From what I understand the only major change in Chinese history in KR was the German intervention in the Northern Expedition meaning that Chinese borders from the Xinhai Revolution up until 1926 would've remained the same and by 1926 there weren't an absolute crap ton of Clique's seeing as the larger Zhili Clique had been sweeping them up during that time.

I did make a mistake though the first was not 1917 but 1907 it was called katsudo shashin.
In 1917 namakura gatana which is also one of the oldest animes was released.

“The 2nd Battle of Jutland was a German Victory” I don’t care what excuses the devs made for that…but that is some donkey nuts considering Britain alone had 2-3 times the number of dreadnaughts the Kaisermarine had and was building more than Germany
I think the devs are considering to remove this in the lore entirely. We might see it change in a future lore rework. Plus the lore is old so expect some inaccuracies.
