Operation Barbarossa was only ever meant to reach the A-A line, which would've already been enough to deprive the Soviets of most of their population and resources. They could've maybe pushed for the Urals as a buffer zone at some point, but Siberia and Central Asia are desolate by comparison and the logistical nightmare of occupying all that territory would outweigh any possible benefit. In TWR Azerbaijan is already a part of RKS Kaukasus and the only Caucasian country that isn't is Armenia, which I could see the Germans annexing or puppeting but could also just be unimportant enough to be left alone As for Japan, if we're talking about TWR then none of that matters because Japan still loses.

By early 1945 there wasn't anything to buy but everyone had money, so the black market thrived. By fall of 1945, the German economy would have crashed as workers would have nothing to buy with their pay. Germany never had a chance without an oil supply. That led to Stalingrad as the Soviets had 9% of the worlds supply at that time is the northern Caucasins.
In the TWR timeline, Germany and Italy basically partition Switzerland between each other in a military campaign that takes about 6 months in 1943 and 1944.

But, if an army can breach through the mountain passes into the country and hold them, I could see the Swiss army not being able to hold out too long. In real life it didn't because hitler purposely stalled and allowed the british army to escape- if he didn't and simply crushed and killed or captured all of those men, it would have been a devestating blow to the british- but I agree that it probably wouldnt have made the U.K surrender immediately. Losing 338,000 troops for the cost of nearly nothing for the nazi's would have been absolutely devestating, and made an invasion of the U.K far easier though, especially since that army was the U.K's most elite and well trained troops.

For Reference, Wikipedia states that Britian's TOTAL military casualties were 383,000 deaths over the entirety of ww2, losing the army at Dunkirk would have almost doubled that number.

For Reference, Wikipedia states that Britian's TOTAL military casualties were 383,000 deaths over the entirety of ww2, losing the army at Dunkirk would have almost doubled that number.

If in a war all country's just have their entire army die and be put into extreme instability it is a lost war for both sides, especially if those nations would collapse like Yugoslavia or the soviets.

The war was a decisive allied victory. If you’re taking about the Iron Curtain. Post-War European Ruin and the Nuclear bombs over Japan then I guess but the lines on the map moved and the ideas changed.
