- The year is 1952, Germany has won WW2. After a swift victory in the West and the capitulation of the Allies and a gruesome war against the Soviet Union in the East, Germany emerged victorious and Hilter's fantasies became a reality. But deep beneath the facade of strength and unity, something is brewing in Germany. Hilter is sick and is not well, there's a very big chance that Hilter is dead soon. This makes a question arise, who will lead Germany after he is gone? Well, find out now by watching this video and experiencing one of the best HOI4 mods out there, TWR!
Welcome to another episode of TommyKay's HOI4 Mod Review
TWR aka Thousand Week Rekt is a HOI4 mod on the world if Germany won WW2. It's similar to TNO aka The New Order in some regards, but they take a very different approach in gameplay and story telling for their Hearts of Iron 4 experience. Nonetheless this is a Hearts of Iron 4 world where USA beat Japan, but USA never joined WW2. This is a HOI4 world where the UK still exists but is not the power it used to be. This is a Hearts of Iron world where the Soviet Union aka Russia has fallen apart and is split into a lot of different countries. And, of course this is a Hearts of Iron world where Germany controls all of Europe and is dominating the world.
As mentioned previously, not all is well in this HOI4 Germany.
Multiple people are looking to get power and multiple people are looking to exploit the possible upcoming German Civil War.
Which one will TommyKay pick? Which one will Tommy Kay decide to go with? Which one will TommyKay play in this extremely well designed HOI4 mod? I think long time Tommy fans will know exactly who.

It's a sad state of the world nowadays that you can't play a random video game that loosely deals with events of a war that ended 75 years ago without having to make disclaimers and constantly repeating that "it's just a video game". Society is deranged.
On my first game as germany I was able to avoid a civil war which turned the game more into a cold war between the military controlled Germany and the US. Right now its 1975 and pretty much all unique content has been played through but it was still fun

Yeah TWR has a huge problem in that the main goals of almost every nation are accomplished in the early 60s and there’s nothing else to do after that, even though there are so many more focuses
