You know, the explanation of how this happened makes alot of sense. instead of the Lusitania getting sunk, it was the other way around, with the british sinking an american vessel. Then, because the american's never joined the war, the german attack in early 1918 that nearly broke France and Britian's lines in our timeline actually succeeded, because american troops weren't there to reinforce the western front.
Winston Knight Sort of. But even had the Spring offensive been successful, the complete collapse of France seems unlikely. Especially bearing in mind that the Spring Offensive was launched before US troops began arriving in any significant numbers so the lack of US involvement wouldn’t have made much of a difference. It was the allied Hundred Days offensive where US troops were vital.
actually, if I remember correctly(I've read the lore a while ago) 1918 was the germans staying on the defensive in the west(just now with a lot of men and most of the big guns from the east) against more entente offensives after their relative "succes" at passchendaele which pushed the germans back at high cost. these new ones however (to put it mildly) went disastrous with the sudden influx of fresh german troops evening the odds. 1918 really was another 1915 in this timeline, with the germans holding in the west, and sending the rest of their freed up troops to italy, the balkans and the middle east. IIrc, they used the "stormtroopers" tactics to break the macedonian front and push the entente out of Greece, before sending strong forces to help the ottomans turn the tide at aleppo and mosul, slowly pushing the british back down south. the big decisive year was 1919, with that famous spring offensive, which was much less rushed against a much more weakened enemy compared to real life(no million americans for example) and almost reached paris, causing the british and French to pull most forces out of italy and the middle east to defend the French capital which allowed the central powers to finish the italians off and break through towards rome and the French border(remember that in this timeline the central powers aren't starving due to ukranian grain and the americans pressuring the british into lessening their blokade). The final blow consists of two events: the german army makes an all-out final push and captures paris despite massive losses on both sides, and the german navy throws everything it has against the british home fleet, permanently breaking the blokade despite again enormous losses on both sides. with france descending into revolution and being forced to sign an armistice to save paris from occupation, the british are the only enemy left, refusing to make peace. the rest of 1919 is simply breathing, recovering and consolidating for Germany and its new power bloc. 1920 is germany siding with the Whites, help them crush the soviets, and forcing them to accept the treaty of brest-litovsk thereby dashing british hope for a renewed eastern front. 1921 is both sides staring at each other. 1922 is the peace with honour. @@天子-Ren that video is positing an alternate reality of our own timeline where these things never vanished. that entire universe is a wishlist for all western totalitarian ideologies we are dealing with right now. and especially the fact that colonialism is treated as a good thing here is just a really bad take, because to this day there still hasnt been any meaningful official memorial culture for the victims of colonialism in many western countries, and especially germany. especially when compared to what is being done with regards to remembering the holocaust. and finally: this alternate reality was created by people from our own time. its one thing to look back at the past and say: "this was just the zeitgeist, we cant measure it by todays standards", but its another thing if someone from today creates a popoular franchise which endorses specfically what happened in the past. get it now?

Omg, an alternate history that isn't chaotic and desolate :o
Kaiserreich is actually a relatively Chaotic Alt-Verse as Syndicalist Socialism won out over communism. This has made it a more widespread ideology than socialism in our time and far more appealing to the masses. This has created a situation where most countries are underthreat from Socialist revolutionaries. With Large-Scale Wars being less likely than mass revolution and Multi-way Civil Wars.
that and the world war has broken down the imperial order. breaking 3 of the major world powers in 20 years.
