Hi Steven. You're very welcome, thanks so much for watching the videos. Congratulations on the new griddle, I'm glad you're enjoying it. And thank you for purchasing the ebook! Have a great weekend buddy.
Good seeing you at the park this week! I seasoned the grill and made burgers, fries and veggies for dinner Saturday. Then my daughter had a sleep over so went all out Sunday morning. Eggs bacon French toast pancakes sausage has browns. One of the girls said she loves spending the night for the good food!
Just bought a Camp Chef Expedition for my Gazebo and you are my Go To for griddle expertise. I've learned a lot from you over the past couple of weeks about griddle seasoning, use and cooking on it. Keep it going Johnny and Thanks.
Awesome!!! Congratulations on the new griddle my friend. I see some great meals in your near future. ( Well, if the weather cooperates wherever you live).
Johnny, just wanted to pass something on to you. Challa bread is a Jewish bread and it’s pronounced Halla dropping the letter C. And adding a warble to the pronunciation is even more authentic.
Oh thanks! Now I'll know for next time how to pronounce it properly. It's a delicious bread, I look forward to using it more. Thanks for the correction.
I received your email this AM on French toast and it made my want some. I decided to see what I had and get as close as I could. I had a loave of French bread from Costco so cut that in 1” slices. I didn’t have cream so used milk and my grandkids whipped cream in a can. Had most everything else. Man it came out really good. A little crispy on outside and soft and fluffy on inside. I was worried it wouldn’t be cooked through but at 5 minutes a side was perfect. Using a hand mixture instead of a fork was the game changer. No more floating cinnamon. Once again you came through. 8 am is a little early for a beer so Irish Cream and coffee worked. Typing this makes me plan on using a little Irish cream in the egg mixture next time. Thanks again.
Hey Ken! Thanks for reading the emails my friend. I've never done it with French bread but it sounds like it turned out great! The hand mixer definitely helps I can't believe I never did that either. I'm so glad you made this for the grandkids this really makes my day to hear that. Good call on the Irish cream my friend.
We use brioche and don't let it dry out overnight. Just slice it, soak it for 3-5 minutes in the egg/cream/cinnamon/vanilla mixture then cook low and slow. Top with real maple syrup and enjoy! May not be French toast by the book, but it's really tasty! Accompany it with maple sausage (yes, there's a theme going on here) and it's a breakfast in "Maple Heaven!" LOL!

White trash whisk😅 both ways look like a winner to me. I wanna suck the frothy butter with a silly straw
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So you made fancy French toast, but then you ruin it with hungry jack high fructose corn syrup, how bout real maple syrup?, to complete the fancy shmancy dish
Ya that's all I had but next time I can get the real stuff.
Definitely go real maple syrup, huge difference! Also look for bourbon infused maple syrup to add a little extra
@@diplication oh we have a bourbon one at work it is pretty awesome.
It’s “Halla”, not “kallah.”
