@@TwoBrosRC hey Jon! Thanks for taking the time to pass by and to comment! That’s the nice work :)) After this flight I did some cobras with rolls at the top and barrel rolls last week, but I was looking to edit that videos. Still beginning with this and I don’t have any idea about that haha. I started to post videos just to record maidens to remember :)
For better battery longevity I recommend make that cut off on 2.9V. Looks like a bit tail heavy but is better for landings. Maybe making a good mix in 2% of down elevator with throttle for fast passes will be nice.
@@DIY500AMP Hola amigo! You’re totally right. I was wondering and thinking at the beginning, that turning the voltage cutoff totally would be the way to go. But as this plane and ESC are older I had just the possibility to reduce it to 2,8V. Also 3,0V would be possible I think. Under max load and after hitting that 2,8V cutoff measured voltage per cell between 2,5-2,6 but getting to 2,5V what would be bad. I don’t know if logevity is so important for me because like 100-200 cycles would be enough probably. But better though 👍🏼 you know about planes I see’ 👍🏼 this plane is maybe 1cm behind the manual CoG so pretty ok for being a Delta. It flies awesome. But yes, for speed I need to pitch down more. Also the CG is always changing between Lipo and LiIon because the canopy has little space and then the trim changes. But I think I’ll let this so. Thank you very much for passing by and commenting! You have an awesome channel! I looked a bit more about the BAK 2170-45D and for 1-2 Min 40A test they have less voltage sag and temperature than my P45Bs. I think I’ll test them out because JP40 are still expensive. Or I order 200 and try to get rid of the most of them…
@@ficosk8 It is my pleasure my friend. I want to test the BAK 21700-45D. I need to order few for testing. In the ESC I depending how many AMP (LOL) is your load will choose to 3V or 2.8V. 2.5V is to low and 3V still has good capacity left but if is a very low load and you are hitting 3V, I rather land the plane.
@ thanks my friend! Well, I looked and this old ESC had only low (2,85V), middle (3,15V) or high (3,3V). But was designed for LiPos surely. I’m changing the power system to the newer inrunner Motor/Edf 3658 2150kV which will load more the cells I suppose and put also a new Vgood 8S capable ESC with 120-140A to try a 7S configuration also. I’ll think I’m gonna order some of that BAK cells. They are a bit better than the Molis I have and a lot cheaper than ordering from Asia. Also cheaper than the P45Bs I have. The P50Bs are coming on December to Germany and would be a nice alternative for large capacity but a bit more expensive around $8 each. It’s a interesting topic this of LiIons :D
@ and my CG will tend to go more tail heavy even because of the heavier inrunner which also goes more far back then outrunner motors. So I’ll need to change the cell position. Will be tricky, but fun I hope :))
@@ficosk8 I will stay away of the P50B because they run very hot comparing with JP40 or EVE40PL. If you cant get JP40, try the EVE40PL. I cant talk about the BAK yet since I haven't tested. The one that run cooler is the EVE40PL under constant load. The more power delivery is absolutely the JP40 but the EVE is not that far. The Molicel P45B and P42B they just run super hot to be even chosen with the new tabless cells technology. Molicel P50B is not tabless.
@@jean-claudeterretaz7464 Hi Jean Claude! Cool!! 5 mins! That’s awesome! I fly my HRB 3300 just 2:40 but 3:30 and mayyyybe 4:00 would work flying slow high alpha or low high alpha 🤣 This plane is so fun. On Saturday I flew 10:30Min with this very light LiIon pack. But my camera was off. That was fun :)) Sadly this jets although it’s a 80mm cannot fit bigger batteries. Otherwise I would solder a 6S2P with 850g and 20min slow flight or 10min full throttle 😆 I’ll try out 7S or 8S maybe. But I’ll install the 3658 2150kv motor before. This is an old 3530 1850kv outrunner. I hope she gets more end speed and more thrust from 0, to come easier out of ultra slow low high alphas. On Sunday I had to emergency landings 😆 Thanks for commenting! Have a nice evening!
@@kellyellerbroek9222 slowly I’m beginning to gain confidence. This was my 7th flight with her. On the weekend I remembered what you told my about this being a more difficult model. I indeed had some issues with her being twitchy. But after two more flights with a bit more of light in the sky it became much better. I’m also getting more confidence on the ruder. But what it’s really super sweet for a novice as me is that she does not bite you suddenly. She just looses altitude when stalling. Need to take more care of low high alpha flying and having enough throttle to punch out but until now she works fine and has began to be my most loved jet 🤣 (Until I crash, but I hope not too)
Nice work dude!

Hallo Michael!
@ Servus Michael! Freut mich! Ich habe vorhin a die Decathlon gedacht. Komme noch nicht dazu sie vorzubereiten 😬
Liebe Grüße
