    Would love to have this foam for my bed.

    • @khj5582
      @khj5582 Год назад

      Why? This foam wouldn't cushion your body and be comfortable, rather you would be bouncing around on top of it.

      probably would cost like 10k

    Isn't zoomx made by Arkema?

    • @kingblast333
      @kingblast333 Год назад +3

      Arkema makes the PEBA polymer which is expanded into a foam by Zotefoams

    • @runningshoeguy
      @runningshoeguy Год назад +1

      Arkema makes one kind of PEBAX (a PEBA patented by Arkema) and Zotefoams turns the PEBAX into ZoomX.

    9.000 tons of foam a year?

  • @CuanWalker

    This video makes it sound like this factory is behind the design and manufacturing of the shoe which is wrong. All they do is supply the ‘foam.’
    Prototype Nike racing shoes are made in a special factory in Korea and then obviously consumer market models made in China and Vietnam.
    Also he’s wrong saying the shoe was first used at Rio Olympics. I have an actual pair that was used in that Rio Olympic marathon. They were already testing these shoes back in 2015 including races and the 2016 US Olympic Marathon trials

      i did not get the impression that this factory does anything else apart from manufacture the foam

      As someone who had few years working in foam related product , I think what the role of foam material development here is significant and well described in this video

    That is called cheating with tech.

    • @SkyIon

      Not really when everybody uses it. You can apply this tech cheating idea to every aspect in the world - finance, building, space, cars, computers, school, airport security... grow up buddy.

      Karen there's a difference between designing and manufacturing those shoes were designed there through trial and error once they got it right they sent the designs to their manufacturing plants to mass produce them
