    Is amazing that a guitar god like JP acknowledges his weakness about perfect pitch. JP rules my friend!!!

    • @Diegosaurio
      @Diegosaurio 7 лет назад +7

      I don´t really see it as a weakness, most musicians don´t have it, that doesn´t entitle you to make great music.

    David Gilmour still uses the old vintage Peterson strobe tuners in his studio(s). On tour, he uses the same model Maddi's using here. :)

    Thank you for being so open about your gear. I the Triaxes rig you went through the pedal board to Triaxes to Axe Fx II to MB 2/100 power amp. In the new rig how is the AXE-FX path way and used? Are you going to replace the AXE FX II with AXE FX III?

    OK, I may be stupid but what is a hearing impaired system?

    • @dreamtheaterclub
      @dreamtheaterclub  7 лет назад +23

      It's a radio feature that transmits the sound from the stage to a special inductive loop which will transmit the sound to hearing aids people wear (that support this feature). Needless to say, this is quite an intrusive feature for sensitive electronic equipiment like a guitar amp is.

    2 strings at a time...I've always taken all the strings off and made sure the Floyd was blocked. But I kinda don't blame him for 2 at at time for changing strings a lot faster and not messing with the tension so much. So it's a smart way for doing it for him.

    Smooth and silky conversations until that pirate LaBrie shows up and the mics start clipping. Gotta love these guys, so important to be working with good friends and have a great time.

    regarding the tuning, mentioned at 2:34 try the 432hz instead of the 440=A4 .... question everything my friend, 440 is out of aligment with nature, no kidding, we need to follow Giussepe Verdi standard, keep on rocking !!!
