Idiochord tube zither - Bunong - Mondolkiri
Idiochord tube zither (kong rla) with six strings made by bamboo. This is probably one of the oldest instruments of Cambodia. It is both the ancestor of the tube zither with metal strings and Malagasy valiha. This musician is one of the last to play it.

Cithare tubulaire idiocorde (kong rla) à 6 cordes. C’est probablement l’un des instruments les plus anciens du Cambodge. Il est à la fois l’ancêtre de la cithare tubulaire à cordes métalliques et de la valiha malgache. Ce musicien est l’un des derniers à la jouer.
