- Mouth organ mbuat - Bunong - Mondolkiri
The mouth organ is one of the oldest instruments in the Southeast Asian. This one (mbuat) has six bamboo pipes distributed four above and two below, each one with a free reed bamboo or brass. The reeds are trapped in a calabash used as a room air distribution. The pipes are hold to the gourd with wax. Each tube is pierced by a small hole the musician close to allow the reed to vibrate. It is an instrument of entertainment. Mr Yue M'bra is one of the last players.

@@jacobeksor6088 related to the chinese SHENG. THE SHENG. READING COMPREHENSION PLEASE
@@13palomaseraficast.61I can understand why you said that. Miao people have the same instrument. The best theory is because khmer and austronesians use to inhabit china. Later tibet burman came and mixed. Then another group tai kra dai was produced. There's still some stuff like cultural practices left behind in china, burma by khmr and austronesians who used to live there. As time went on, newer gene pool like the hans chinese took over.
Wonder if this is where other ethnic group like miao got thrir flute.
Sounds like the turnpike during rush hour
Have some respect for other peoples culture and abilities.
@@alanhunter6286 No, that's not how it works Alan.
