Very confusing, don't use term metro instead of suburban EMU.
This train is useful only as point to point service of approx 60 to 90 minutes. This will help the outskirts masses to travel faster.
Using this as a regular EMU is no use. Also integration with Chennai metro is not possible due to complete different standards and MoU exist with metro to convert Sections of Chennai MRTS to metro standard gauge, and integrate with metro.
Verdict is useful as a point to point service Only.
