This book truly changed my life-a must-read. Amen
I agree with the Penelope and Collin story letting us down, i still loved it but Penelope deserved better in my opinion. I've read all of the bridgerton books and they're so good!
Arcane was good! I originally thought I wouldn’t like it, so it was a nice surprise. I love all the favorites. Those candles look amazing! I can also agree with the health shop smell comment, Kris. It’s like a multivitamin smell 😂. I am going to have to try that carrot salad mix. I just got moleskine journals or I would be running to get the one you showed. Looks very nice! I could NOOOOT make my mind up and then lookie here, just a good old monthly favorites share. THIS IS IT! Not only did I love watching this but you unknowingly helped me make my mind up. Thank you for that! This next part is going to be a little all over the place so we're going with bulleted form. -I can't wait to see the library tour what an amazing gift! -We moved across the nation a couple years ago. Marco Polo has made it possible to stay in touch with family and friends back home, huge fan and ew to texting and phone calls. I'll do it but it's not my fave. -Going to watch that podcast now! Thanks for sharing -Face wash balm, didn't know that was a thing. -On the super cute mini bookshop, I've yet to see someone complete one of those. Love seeing that is in fact possible. I'm going to think on getting one. Ps....Before y'all shared that your were homeschooled I was watching and thinking "They HAVE to be homeschoolers" (fellow homeschool mama here). I don't mean that in a bad way at all in fact the complete opposite. Just your interest, how well spoken you both are, and your love for such a variety of books, among other things. I was so excited when y'all shared that you were in fact homeschooled! I always tell my boys how lucky they are to be uniquely themselves without peers making them think differently.

I wish I could try that carrot salad but I’m super allergic to carrots 😅 ALSO you might want to try Korean skincare for the moisture needed during the winter. The collagen face masks are my fave! It gives you glass skin that’s super moisturized and glowy 😌
The interaction when talking about the micro greens reminded me SO much of me and my sister😂 I’m also having so much fomo with Maddie and Margaret both reading Wheel of Time but I am committed to RotE and the Cosmere this year, so I gotta stay focused!
I’ve been heating up my heating pads (like a cherry pit bag I usually use for periods) and sticking at the foot of the bed and it’s been a game changer for the cold!!
i live in indiana too and the snow this week has been crazy!! also, i have a puzzle recommendation. look up the magic puzzle company, they have so many options for puzzles that are all designed by different artists and actually have secret endings!!! they also give you a list of easter eggs to find since every piece has details on it and so it’s a little scavenger hunt when you’re done as well. i recently finished one since i got a set for christmas and it was soooo much fun

I wonder what message from Anna Lembke you found interesting and what was questionable for you :)? For me there was very limited reference to cross study comparison from various researchers in the same field. Moreover, Anna’s interpretation of various studies could have actually been classified as inconclusive as they haven’t been performed on humans or do not necessarily speak of accurate causation. I.e. From podcast: “modern humans have higher levels of dopamine compared to historical humans : humans used to put in more effort to get little reward - > hence modern bodies are not evolved to cope with so much dopamine” vs other published research on evolutionary theories that suggest that historical humans had higher levels of dopamine compared to modern humans which helped with cognitive and social development. And in any case direct measurement of dopamine level from ancient humans is not possible and the letter theory is based on inference from brain structures and evolutionary patterns. So both statements are simply interpretation of different data with opposite conclusions :) I like when podcasters encourage people to use critical thinking while speakers provide a range of research findings coupled with their not definitive comments . P.s. thanks for the fun video 💛 now I’m craving carrots 😅
