November and December have probably been my fave reads on average. I don't think anything less than 3.75 and it was such a mix of genres, and my fave of the year Will of the Many was in November 😱. Also randomly picked up an "older" romantasy, i also felt that genre were falling flat for me, but this one was so fun!! Daughter of Smoke and Bone, set in Prague where i spent Christmas while i read it. Now binging the rest of the trilogy for the start of the year..... And cried in public a lot😂
Wheel of Time, I read the first three years ago. I would give the first 3 books 4 stars. Life happened and my reading choices changed in the late 90’s. I am definitely going to go back
You guys read so much 😂😂 I only read about 2-3 books at the moment and already feel like I don't have a life 😂😂I would live to see a day in your lives and how/when you find time to read 🎉xx
My best read of December was 1000% Royal Assassin, but also had a surprise 5 star with Little Thieves. Also, Kristen- idk if you know this but Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti are also sisters!
I gasped when you said you were starting Wheel of Time lol, I binged the whole series in 2020 after my job shut down and I mentally and emotionally LIVED in that world for five months, like it felt so real to me. I now have a sort of toxic love/hate relationship with it that leans toward love most of the time. There are so many things I could say in response to your “just medieval fantasy” comment but I won’t lol🤐 I will be very excited to see your reaction to these characters, a few of them are still my favorite fantasy characters of all time. You are in for a looong journey, and I hope you enjoy. Edit: Word of advice, do NOT google anything. Ask on the reddit page if you ever have questions, otherwise you’ll be spoiled like I was trying to google things lol
There is a WOT app for your phone that allows you to look up characters but you set the filter to what book you’ve read up to so that it won’t spoil you for future books.
@@tearcatcheer That's awesome! I wish I had known about that while I was reading lol. I managed to spoil three major deaths and character arcs by trying to look up fanart lmao

No way! Of course they are! This makes so much sense. And yay for Royal Assassin! The political machinations and stress in that one are top notch!
