I do agree. Im not even American. Im just a Good Dane. But this kind of music, i do like very much. Thank you Dan Tyminski. Great greatings from Denmark Jimbo 👍

Please tell me!! What is the difference between Country and Bluegrass. For my ear it Sound like that Bluegrass is Irish folk musik going American.??? Great greatings from Denmark Jimbo 👍
@@jimwitthfftjrgensen1400 Bluegrass typically consists of just acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, dobro, and fiddle. A country band, on the other hand, might include pedal steel, keyboard, electric guitars, and drums.
I have been introducing myself to the Americana/Folk/Bluegrass artists and I have been thinking about where I have been because I have been so disappointed in contemporary country. Dan and Ronnie are keeping my surprise at the great talent that is out there! I have found new mentors for my own music and I'm taking a new turn down a beautiful road! Thanks guys!
Problaly because they have been living the things. They are singing about. It is not some things they are making Up og pretend. Great greatings from Denmark Jimbo 👍
I am not even American. I am just a Good Dane. But these tunes hit my heart, my soul og eh and my tear channels too. Thank you Sir. Great greatings from Denmark Jimbo 👍
These guys voices blend so perfectly sometimes it's hard to tell who's singing the high part or the low part. F today's county, bluegrass is where it's at!
Thanks to hana blazkova, wrote the original song list. I just find it more useful to have links to jump around to favourites as well :) 1. The Boy Who Wouldn't Hoe Corn (1:03) 2. Road to Nash Vegas (5:30) 3. Oh Country Town (9:23) 4. Truck Drivers Queen (12:26) 5. Carry Me Across The Mountain (16:18) 6. Money in The Bank (19:45) 7. Hobo Blues (23:12) 8. I Dreamed of an Old Love Affair (26:43) 9. It's Getting Better All The Time (33:27) 10. Man Of Constant Sorrow (38:14) 11. Cold Virginia Night (43:32)
Their voices just belong together. Two of my lifelong heroes, both highly underrated/appreciated. The only thing i didn’t love about this was that it wasn’t about twice as long!
Gotta love the way Dan just adjust the tuning on his bass strings, yet the thumping never stops! Also, I really love when Dan belts it out on those higher notes. What a performance!

Well actually Dan plays everything from Guitar to Mandolin to Banjo to even the fiddle. And Ronnie can play Bass, Guitar and Mandolin. And they played in the lonesome river band together in the early 90s with Sammy Shelor on Banjo, Tim Austin on Guitar, and Dan on Mandolin and Ronnie on Bass.
Discovered this today and all I gotta say is: Esto es lo más chimba que he oído en mi vida (this is the most badass shit I've ever heard). Love for all country music from Medellín, Colombia.
I accidentally ended up here because i was searching for a ' how to play Man of constant sorrow video. i never heard any of these songs or these musicians. Im in awe trying to soak all this in. I cant believe the synchronicity of their voices and guitars blending together It is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this. When is the next crossroads fest.?
Ronnie my sis still carries a torch for you til this day but it should have been me.. if you have a wife., I don't know but if so she's one lucky woman, you too
Dan Tyminski never disappoints...always a wonderful performer.

@@jimwitthfftjrgensen1400 some of the best bluegrass I have ever heard was from people outside the US. ❤️
No one gels vocally like Dan & Ronnie. Awesome!
Mmmmm... I'm thinking Tim O'Brien and Darrell Scott :)
Real country music!! Im sick of that pop/rap that they call country !!This is the best music and singing there is!!
This is bluegrass, not country.

I wish you could hear music like this on a country station. Modern country has nothing on talented musicians/songwriters like this.
Dan Tymiński is so underrated
Best voice I ever heard
@@whiterice9146 been a huge fan of his
Really? Seems he's rated right up thar with the best.
@@endoalley680 he's A great singer
anyone who doesn't put him up there with the greats, doesn't know the music. just his LRB catalog alone puts him up there!
Dan Tyminski is a musical genius!!

Mandolin - "Am I nothing to you?"
Wish these guys were still together like when they were in Lonesome River Band....One of the best bluegrass bands ever....
Ronnie Bowman is soo good! What a great singer and player! The two guys that really nailed the LRB sound in the early 90's right here.
Him and Dan are bread and butter
Wow.! Those
Old Martins.! They sumthin another else.!
The sound Dan gets from his dreadnaught is the quintessential sound of the American steel string guitar.
I'm betting it's a Martin D-18. Perfect for bluegrass music. Love a guitar through a mic instead of something from inside the guitar.
It's a 1946 d28
For anyone wondering. The tuning is just basic drop d for the songs that aren't in standard. Not dadgad
Dan you are a Giant :) and we love you xxx

God! I'd love to have that guitar for an hour. Pure gold tone!!!!!
I dont have the words. Absolutely amazed!!!!! Thank you for this performance l!
2 of my all time favorites for sure
While there's music like this, life is good...

What a performance!
He's the picker too
these 2 guys are too good together definitely!!!!!!
Did a show in my hometown Thursday. That is how a guitar should be played.
Love Dan tyminskis rhythm
You can see the feelings they have. Brothers from another mother. This is great stuff.!

I love how these guys are feeling comfortable tuning together. We know that you tune because you care. Y'all are beautiful sounding... :)
Love his guitar. That thing is beautiful.
originalformulamusic Ronnie's too.
@@originalformulamusic I believe that Ronnie's D28 is a 1934, Dan's is a 1946 That 34' was owned by Dan and eventually he sold it to Ronnie.

Road to NashVegas reminds me of Paul Brady and Andy Irvine The Plains of Kildare.
Just awesome guitar picking. Dan has some set of pipes on him too
His memory isn't as good as his moonshine... That was great
Not my genre, reminiscing on the Coen Bros film and the song he used in it. His music is absolutely beautiful and his playing… just wow..
good job boys.wow
