Probably one of the only four cylinder, lightweight focused fox bodies getting built. I’m really excited to see what suspension stuff gets developed from this car.
As an engineer I love your light weight no insane parts needed build style. Light weight done right makes almost everything easier. Edit: liked the video. As I always do
Fox body notch back Mustang, my first car. Mine was a 1979 Ghia with the weird metric Michelins on alloy wheels and the 302 with a mighty 160 HP! Did one leggers for days! LOL.
I wanted a foxbody, but settle with a 3rd gen camaro because its a dream car. I didn't realize how easy everything is on those for drift. Easy IRS swap, easy rack and pinion and suspension and angle. I dont regret my camaro, but I definitely still want a foxbody mustang. They will continue to sky rocket now drift is leaning more towards American cars.
The algorithm plays the next video at random. That's probably why everyone is not liking the video? I like all your videos please explain the process of matience at your track, I would like to see more of that type of video.
Chelsea. When going through this build would you mind doing some technical talk on suspension and what the reasoning is for why you pick certain parts, length of shocks, etc? Im really interested in front end setup specifically
Finally BC Racing is making coil overs for the fox never wanted to buy any coil overs unless there BC can’t wait for the finished product I hope they are affordable
WOOOHOOOO, been waiting for some content on the #partyupanotch. Keen AF to see the build. Now we just need an update on the busted Ti and the E46 roller
I like this idea, I'm thinking of buying my buddies convertible foxbody to build into my next drift car after watching this...CAUSE ITS DIRT CHEAP...under a grand, heck yeah
The camera guy's nose whistle lol this is gonna be badass though! Foxbodies are taking over everything because of their potential flying below the radar for so long. I myself like seeing unique but good looking cars sliding around and Foxbodies are hard to truly not like or appreciate. Keep doing your thing brother! 💪🙏
Your buddy's breathing and noise whistling was driving me crazy throughout the video 😂 but either way love the idea and the thought behind the concept of this build! Going to be weird hearing turbo 4 cylinder rev limiter banging noises coming from this thing while in drift!
Uhhhhj yeah . Fox bodies in Nevada are not cheap. Or available. 😁 But I can't wait to see if the Ecoboost can live in the drift environment. I'm really hoping it does . We need turbo 4's in drift projects that won't break the bank !
I have a 84 GT Turbo and dream of putting an Eco in it. Spent a ton doing Megasquirt and runs like poopy. Being disabled has taking me 9yrs and still not running but hopefully one day I can afford the Eco and get rid of all the ancient stuff in the car. I want to keep it a 2.3 turbo since thats what came stock but just upgrade a bit. Ty so much for being true to the Ford platform and not putting a LS in it lmao.
Love it. It's about time someone did this. It's almost a no brainer in terms of "purity" and performance. I mean let's all be honest, 700hp is super cool, but I swear to Asphalt Jesus, you cannot use more than that on a road surface without serious consideration and supporting hardware. Your build approach for this car would be appropriately dubbed Bushido method. Designed for battle, but tempered in wisdom.
I used to have an 88 fox and wanted to turn it into a drift car. But at one point, I was down and out, short on cash and had to sell it. Unfortunately, I lost money on it. Sold it for less than I bought it, after putting in a new performance rad. Had new plugs and wires for it and a few other parts that I just hadn't put on yet.
Hey Chelsea! I am currently gearing up to build my 93 foxbody into a drift car. This was my very first car purchased ten years ago it means the world to me. Although, i've broken it countless times and every girlfriend ever has told me to sell it I have so much love for the vehicle its completely absurd... (Currently have a Gen 3 F-150 yote that I have to modify and a T56 waiting for me to rebuild it.) The route on this path that has me stumped however, is definitely suspension. There is absolutely zero aftermarket support for these cars and I was contemplating swapping a Lincoln rear end in to utilize the live axel lol. This video could not have come at a better time!!!!! Super stoked that you and BC are into supporting such an awesome platform, I hope to be documenting the build this winter while going to school for fabrication. My man, i'd love it if we could chat about parts, modification pathways and possibly a mutual beneficial partnership, (hope that wasn't a shameless ask, I don't need a damn thing for free, but being apart of new developments for drifting nexts dirty little secret would be so damn awesome.) Hope you see this man, let's build some goofy 90's ass ice ice baby muscle cars into some goddamn cruise missiles.
I bought a foxbody last summer for drifting instead of my e36, it was cool to see Chelsea buy one as well. I looked at him for all the e36 tips, now I might get some foxbody tips as well lol
I've got a 95 cobra that's basically the same platform wise so I'm gonna be happy watching this series. I've already got BC's already so I'll be happy to see what you guys do to improve them for the platform. I'm between Road Racing and Drifting so this might swing my choice. Also have Scotti front control arms in a box. Looking forward to the technical side so please do share.
I was wondering when BC was gonna get in the Fox market. So glad you're finally putting out the Fox content. Soooo excited!!! They came with a 2.3 so I think it's awesome you chose the new 2.3 over the 2.0. A modern SVO!
Having an off the shelf harness solution would be sick and really jump start the Fox body as a true solution to drift chassis scarcity. Putting engines in and bolting up a trans isn’t why drives people away It’s the wiring that people worry about.
Hey Chelsea I bought a f-body a year ago to build a drift car out of and then I heard you were building this and I got super excited can't wait to see the end result
I really like this build. I think there some more america chasis that would be good for a drift platform, cheaper and easily accessible parts. I'm excited for your take on this build. You have a more out of the box thinking!
I just wanted you to know that admire your talent! I haven't been subscribed very long but started watching you becuse of watching you ripping around at the freedom factory! You and Vaughn are great!! Keep up the great content ...
Me and my 79 foxbody are VERY EXCITED to get BC's!!! Thanks for FINALLY getting the attention out there! Are you going to be making an angle kit as well? My fox should be around 2500ish maybe 2600 without me in it.
I’m breathing heavy for this build just like camera guy.
🤣🤣
This is ASMR channel now
😂
Read my mind
Dammit I read this before the video and now it’s all I can hear!
The most down to earth man on the formula D roster.
Always love his convos and discussions too. Could listen to him talk for hours
@@roguearttuning I really wish I had an opportunity to ask him questions.
Facts tho, wish i could find a notch local to me been looking.
I second that notion
Probably one of the only four cylinder, lightweight focused fox bodies getting built. I’m really excited to see what suspension stuff gets developed from this car.
im building a 2.3t drift fox right now
The whole lightweight theory is what made notches legendary.
Fox body prices are about to sky rocket. Thanks Chelsea.
As an engineer I love your light weight no insane parts needed build style. Light weight done right makes almost everything easier.
Edit: liked the video. As I always do
Lotus theory.
Talk to James Taal if you want to do wheelies! Love the content, learned so much from your videos.
Thumbs up just for you Chelsea
I saw the dyno thumbnail, starting watching. Then I was like nope, need to see the 1st video
"2017 Mustang Me Up Dude" 😂 epic. Really bummed the schedule didn't allow me to drop by when I was so nearby, can't wait to see this thing
Finally some BC coils for the Foxbody community🙌🙌🙌
All I can hear is you camera guy breathing, but I'm happy you guys are helping find "cheaper" chassis to fix up for drift. Love it!
I dont know about cheaper, fox bodies are going up in price by alot
@@LostDrifter361 hence the quotations lol
@@LostDrifter361 in new york that roller is 6500 all day.

The white pearl 🤙. Looking good man. Can't wait to see it get done.
Pump those thumb numbers up boys, this channel deserves it.
Fox body notch back Mustang, my first car. Mine was a 1979 Ghia with the weird metric Michelins on alloy wheels and the 302 with a mighty 160 HP! Did one leggers for days! LOL.
Can’t wait to see this fox build !!! Awesome choice
Would love to see a video about the front end set up! This car is rad for us DIY types.

yeah like a super technical video about suspension and how different parts/setup affects different aspects of car/driving
Can't wait to see more.
Finally someone gets that these ecoboost engines are the future. And if I'm correct Ford makes crate motor versions.
Would love to see a BN style kit for these. Bad ass build Chelsea! Can't wait to see it shred! ❤
Looking forward to more of these videos

Cool to see more people using link . Little kiwi company is doing well
I've been waiting for this video for months and it is never going to be enough.
Super stoked to see this through.
We need more of this
This dude is a living legend, he deserves all the likes.
2k likes to 3 dislikes is unheard of. 3. Chelsea is an idol

I'd love to see a video about the rear suspension setup
Glad to see a Foxbody drift build , then add in an EcoBoost , aught to be an interesting build ...

Excited for this
This has been a dream of mine personally. Only 4g63t rather than eco boost.
Killer set up SVO type set up
11.2 130mph 1/4mile
Hell yea. I love my ecoboost. I still want to put one in my svo mustang with the irs in it.
Would love to see the fox body really make its way into the drift world!
This thing is gonna be sick
Nice to see a more realistic working class build and not a $500,000 up Corporate big $$ sponsored cars that we can’t even dream of ever building!! 💪💪

I am an eco-boost owner. I’ve been excited ever since you talked about putting it in a car a while ago. So stoked!
And I also think it is a very capable engine and people will start doing more builds with them after they see you do it. If it is successful lol
