i know i'm possibly over-analyzing this but i love how the suspense/droning (idk how you call it) noise peaks when the door hits the ears of the character (which is where some people might assume they would explode into gibs). then nothing happens for a bit as the noise stops and then the door lands on the head of the character when you expected them to gib earlier and BOOM, THEN THEY EXPLODE. comedic genius.
