My country is living its worst moment thanks to a terrible administration and a narco government who make millions of dollars through narcotraffic, oil reserves and the gold exploitation in the Amazonas. Venezuela is not producing anything, nor coffee, corn or cacao beans like it used to. Everything is imported from other countries, so the food is scarce and we have no medicine and other every day products like soap to take a shower. If you don't believe me, I can invite you to spend a time in my house and try to live for a month like other Venezuelan live. With only 4 dollars per month, which is the minimum salary.

Pues no sé a ustedes pero a mí como colombiano me fastidiaba mucho cuando Hollywood hacía películas sobre Colombia y se iban a las zonas más pobres y feas que encontraban en México para filmar ahí a charros escuchando rancheras y decir que eso era Colombia. Por dar un ejemplo puntual, recuerdo mucho cuando en "Mr and Mrs Smith" aparece dizque Bogotá y es un pueblo calentano, pobre y con calles destapadas en la mitad de la selva tropical...
La ironía aquí es que para las escenas de Caracas, ellos se vinieron hasta Bogotá y filmaron todas esas escenas en Las Cruces, uno de los barrios pobres del Sur de Bogotá tal que "Caracas" se vea mucho más pobre y fea para así agregarle un efecto más dramático a la serie... Ustedes que opinan de eso?

It's still possibly an adaptation of Clear and and Present Danger, with Columbia swapped out for Venezuela. Columbia was a popular country of conversation when Clancy wrote the novel in 1989, with the likes of Pablo Escobar running around, so it stands to reason, it's the same principle when they adapted this season.

This is supposed to be an adaptation of Clear and Present Danger. They are just changing the setting and the reason for going there with something that is more relevant today.
I remember that before they made movies from the United States and the dangerous country to visit was Colombia, for example: Clear and Present Danger (1994) with Harrison Ford, Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005) with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in this last movie they showed Bogota the Colombia's capital as a rural and poor town with palm trees and heat, and Bogota is a large city with a mild climate. Something similar happens here because the images are from Colombia and not from Venezuela.

This show obviously isn't going to reflect on that, and show chaotic evil narco/islamic terrorist groups who just want to kill people for no good reason or "they hate our freedom"; and then show an equally evil organization as the good guys because they are "official".

Anyway, "Venezuela" doesn't make that decision, that's a decision of the dictator currently in power.
I am against the US military getting involved, but i have no problem at all with the USA using its economic power to help remove the current Dictatorship.

It goes like this: Plan "food for such and such" will feed 300.000 families.
Now they give the money for that to some politicians rich cousins(So the money basically goes to the politician), they steal all the money and the little bit that they left is given to the families of those that support the government (They fake their support so they get the food, ;) ).
Venezuela has been mismanaged (stolen from) long before USA took its hard stance on Dictator Maduro.
Little did he know, he was getting himself into becoming the menace, golden face, and the great Michael Scarn will become his greatest enemy.
