  • In Star Wars 2, players can use a variety of iconic blasters and lightsabers as they shoot and slice their way through over 13 different hallways. But the fun doesn't stop there - hop into the online mode where you will get CIS for every match even though you wanna be a cool clone guy.

      I would have been ok with the switch in loyalty if they did it better. Have it be more of a struggle for her to decide or have existing conflicting emotions. Instead she just sort of decided the Empire was bad and switched
      Alternatively they could have copied from the original BF2 and had her stay with the Empire but me more resentful about in. In the Original you play a clone trooper who becomes a Storm trooper, and while they fight for the Empire they reflect how they don't feel great about it

    • @ryon5174
      @ryon5174 Год назад +50

      One thing that always bothered me is why is it that only now she decided to switch sides - if I’m correct, the memory level made it imply that Inferno saw action in Scarif, meaning they likely saw the Death Star blow up Jedha, that one portion of Scarif, and might have went on to witness the events of ANH and ESB prior to the ROTJ events here
      Being special forces and all you’d think these three were conditioned enough to not care about the stuff happening but it always baffles me how a special forces group managed to defect somehow
      I was okay when Katarn did it (my memory is fuzzy, I also vaguely remember him being a former stormer), but characters like that one guy from Rebels, the Filoni Clone Troopers, and 2/3 of Inferno is eh

From Genosis to Hoth a perfect line up & went like lets do the opposite but forget that we actually loved the original because we played as Storm troopers. Even though my journey is over, I’ll still try to comment to keep that sweet sweet engagement rating up
    My takeaway from this campaign was that it should have had two paths, Iden even has the two squad mates and one is like “empire good” while the other is like “empire bad” then you fight the other one at the end.
    I think you should’ve been able to choose to stay with the empire and then fight the rebel guy at the end, would’ve been more interesting

    Fett surviving the Sarlac, Maul surviving being cut in half and falling a mile, Palpy surviving a multi mile fall and the explosion of the DS2…the retcons in this franchise are getting ridiculous

    • @weberman173
      @weberman173 Год назад +18

      tbf, Fetts Sarlac surviving isnt really that outragous given he wore beskar armor AND the sarlac is known for taking AGES to digest things, meaning it would be painfull but not imidiatly deadly to fall into it, escaping is problematic but not impossible.
      and palpy didnt survive per say, his body died, his spirit survived and inhabitat a clone body he prepared beforhand
      AND booth of those events are actually not Disney originals (maul surviving isnt either.... but that one has no explanation outsie of "dark side anger") but where pre established things that already happend in similiar fashions in legends since... basicaly star wars existed(palpy even returned twice in the old canon)
      the retcons arent GETTING ridicolous, they where ridicolous

    • @kirishima638
      @kirishima638 Год назад +6

      @@weberman173 it’s lazy writing. If the sarlac was so easy to escape from it wouldn’t be used for executions. Robot-legs-maul was is so stupid it’s insulting.
      Palpatine being ‘prepared’ for his death on the DS2 makes no sense because he was absolutely sure of the battles outcome. He had ‘foreseen’ it.
      They couldn’t come up with new characters so they recycled old ones.

    The E11 is not a cut in half WW2 Sten gun. It's an almost unchsnged post WW2 Sterling. Which is kind of the same gun. The stubby little magazine is the 10 round magazine for police or concealed carrying. The stock folds under the gun and forms the iconig front handle of the E11.
    The british first built the Lanchaster, which already was basically the pre-war gucci version with wooden stock and all that. Then in the war, they went full minimalistic with the design, which is the Sten we all know. After the war, the british went back to more gucci versions of it and created versions like this with folding stocks or some with integrated silencers.
