Watches are mechanical wonders and works of art. Time pieces are revered for they are one of humanity's most noble inventions. LIke the bicycle and the sailboat.
I have walk on several down roads: hype, chinese, quartz, expensive automatic ones, but no one has me quit. After 40 or 50 watches I still want one more. Definitely it's an addiction.
I have several fidget spinners thank you very much. Except they also tell time and apparently you can take them swimming? Ha! Thanks for the entertaining video!
It's completely true. I took a 5 month break from watch hunting. And then suddenly I bought one at the end of May, then another one a week later, and a third one 2 days later. All beautiful, all very accessible. But now I feel bad, because it's too many watches in just 2 weeks. Best regards
It is very addictive just like any hobby that involves collecting. What I always recommend to people is to buy quality over quantity. Dont buy cheap Seikos etc. Buy watches that at least retain value
Buy expensive Seikos! BTW, if you only buy watches as an investment, then you aren't a true watch collector. Watches are tools and accessorizes a learned man. They are an iconic milestone of success, the pursuit of pushing personal envelopes, and the appreciation of excellence.
Oh yes, I know what you are talking about. I never planned to collect watches. I was on the hunt for the perfect fit plus legibility at night and day. And now I have eighty watches. O_o 🕐⚙️🍸

Ah well.....Worth the addiction then

Oh dear.....
Haha brilliant..Yes thats me all over,..Hit fifty watches and sold ten on, now replacing them with new watches as my boxes have sad lonely empty slots
Hehe. ......there's worse addictions
It’s true it is an addiction. Even if you only like one style of watch, there is always something new to desire.
Yes, a break does you good

Way too late for me. I am hopelessly hooked on watches. Cheers!!!!
....suppose we just have to run with it
I like the penguin feet, but I like the dark blue one with the swimming penguins too. Get them both?
I love that one too....so many colourful turtles to go for, and samurais.....I'm in danger of overloading Seiko!
I've had 3 this month one was unexpected eBay but it's a bit chunky for my wrist so gonna have to move it on 😂
.....oops. If we only had one we would appreciate it

Good advice. At least some pre owned may retain value if bought well

A good balanced view
