I love this scooter it's design and features are great but all those negative reviews and battery fire incident are the main reason trying to stop me from purchasing it.😢
also, you have to have a private independent home. The thing stopping me from buying this is that i live in an apartment building.

I my friend has one
his scooter clocked more than 6k kms so far no issues
My riding is mostly in rural roads and it works great
Regarding battery explosion issue there was only one ola scooter got fired
Ola recalled the whole batch manufactured along with that scooter apart from that there was no issues,
But still there was small small glitches there that we have to tolerate as no other scooter right now offer the performance and range than ola s1 pro

Tried Ola electric bike last week , music and navigation features are super cool. Saving money to get it next month.
Don't buy it yet! There's been a lot of complaints like scooter catching fire spontaneously. Do some research, don't blindly put your hard earned money on this.

do yourself a favor and dont buy it , it is not yet ready for market it is a premature EV and never trust a vehicle which relays heavily on software.. pls dont give in for gimmicks people this is for your own safety

With small tires and a very simple suspension setup scooters going above 80km/h do not make sense even a bit in my opinion. Ather and tvs seem to be going in the right direction by focussing on usable power from the powertrain.
The hub motor in the tvs kills it for a lot of people, also the pathetic range even after using skinny tyres.

@mithun T r If there is a puncture, cannot remove the tyre as the Hub has high voltage and needs to be disconnected. Only trained person can do the job

I own ola s1pro. As said ride quality is not that great. I faced glitches before the move os 2.0 update. After the update maximum issues are fixed. Even the hyper mode is been tuned a bit. Everything seems to be good now waiting for future updates. Next gen models, they need to put their efforts where they actually work on the ride quality and suspension. As of now the scooter is great, if you want it for a daily commute. Just a bit cautious on speed bumps take it slowly on them. I actually got a problem with panel noise after i rode it on speedbumps aggressively ola team came to my house and fixed it. Some clips under the panel became loose so they’ve fixed it. After this no sounds and the ride is great.
In a complete charge, how many kilometres you can cover.

@@maheshshetty8196 only one incident happened across india and few scooters had front suspension failure. Apart from that the scooter which i have had no issues whatsoever.
@@pratikdas4986 on normal mode if i am riding it alone can cover 120-130kms easily. If there’s a pillion this will change accordingly. I never rode it on eco as it is very sluggish. On hyper mode and sports mode it is very limited you will only get 70-80kms with those modes.

My my my! Ola is just an awesome scooter at the price point it is available. It's raw power, super suspension and storage has simple blown the competition out. Fellows who crib on u tube really don't understand what they have got for the price they spent.
Ola guys have done a lot of research before launching this product. Not even a single problem in my bike till now.

While booking ola online, final amount also includes 1299 as the amount of two helmets. Is that mandatory to buy helmets with the bike? I already have the helmets hence it is useless for me to buy these helmets.

I own the S1 pro .and its a great scooter at the price..suspension does do a good job compared to the ather...also getting 120km/charge..i think negative reviews are too much hyped..

For daily short commutes yes, but for long distance nope because of range anxiety poor charging network & range on meter is not that accurate
Not to mention the poor ride quality :/

I bought ola s1 and it was very good and I'm fully satisfied. earlier I had a bad feeling about ola quality and suspension. then I booked iqube, but iqube waiting period is 3 months at same time ola launched s1. i reliazed ola s1 and iqube is offering the same range but ola costs 1.1 lakh and iqube costs 1.4 lakh so i brought ola. Now i completed 1000 kms on ola s1.
Here are the pros:
- range is good as what they mentioned.
- key less(everyone saying it is a con. But it is the coming future for cars also. where I won't carry a key and search for the key in home)
- Technology (in scooter everything will be controlled by software like tesla. it is the revolution that every company is trying to adopt) and they have free hand to update scooter
- range (same range given by iqube and ather at 1.4 lks cost . which i bought at 1 lakh)
- storage space is awesome.
- headlights is good
- design is nice. cause don't need sporty look for scooters.
- touch screen is good.
- suspension is also good. I've ridden bike in bumpy roads and the suspension is good
- speakers - i've added in pro because of sound quality and in nights 11pm I'm playing songs and i'm really enjoying .
- least one is software updates. which they are going to add themes and going to add features in the coming days just like the phone.
cons:
- bump at foot place is bad reall and biggest con.
- charging cap is low quality - it's okay my friend replaced and it's costs very low.
- everyone saying need center stand . but i won't understand why they need. till now i don't feel it is needed. once movie theater parking guy asked me park in the center stand i said i don't have then he said okay. even i feel having center stand is pain because it need effort to park
final: i have mixed feeling about the front single suspension. I don't know in future do i get issue or what but front suspension is good. Every vehicle have some cons. but i feel happy about the pros.

I am S1 Pro user, No issues just that charging me rakhneka kantala ata he kabhi. Baaki bhot sasta he... 150 ka average deta he mast... aur kya chahiye.
an alternator must be fixed to charge battery during runnningtime so that major charging issue will be solved and regarding top speed run this scooter is amazing

@@johnnyprince1598 here in Hyderabad the customer support is fast. You call them they’ll be at you door step next day. I don’t know about other regions but i did not face any issue. My scooter is great. All electric scooters have some problems. Even ather had some issues at the beginning. But the thing is they need to make some changes to the suspension to better suit to indian road conditions. Software can be fixed via ota but not these mechanical changes.
