Meet Susan, Manfred and Ivor, some of the Holocaust’s last living survivors. When they were young, they were among the millions of people sent to labor and concentration camps. A lifetime later, their memories of one of the darkest periods in world history remain vivid. In this FRONTLINE Short Doc, their stories come to life through animated illustrations presented with historical accuracy and detail.
“None of us Jews actually who had been transported could realize what was awaiting,” says Susan of being taken to Auschwitz at age 13. “Evil rages. Evil rules. And this was totally alien to our minds, so we just hugged each other closely.”

How can one human being hate another so much, that they are willing to wipe the Earth clean of their existence? I'll never understand how millions of non Jewish decent Germans stood by and allowed this to happen to their friends and neighbors. There is no way that I would have just lived life as usual, while millions of others were killed and forced to suffer.

There are about 200,000 Holocaust survivors left. They were all kids at the time.
