thanks homey, this got me through on the 3rd try. only because first 2 I got Yin first in r2, otherwise everything was smooth as silk!! usually these vids are vague and more braggy (lots of ppl intentionally hide their full setups) and just showing off that they figured some rage battle that most people are stuck on. @akhafasu I've got that squared away. I mean the actual number and which materias needed for all the runs.
That way I only need to do one leveling run instead of leveling between battles.

Well, in that case you probably need to master all of your materia like HP absorb, MP absorb, swiftcast, elemental, HP up, MP up, ATB assist, ATB stagger, etc. The thing is when you grinding using all your characters, you can equip almost all your materia and level it up along the way using AP Up and the Chocobo Armlet

Just restart. You can still defeat him if you can build 2 ATBs and Firaga from the ward
