Here's how to complete Yuffie's Legendary Bout Vs The Wronged for the very FIRST time. I've gotten all of the manuscripts available from Hard mode and am attempting this challenge for the first time. If you do not have these manuscripts, you can still attempt this challenge. Though it might not go exactly as this, but you'll still be able to complete it.

If you’re struggling as I did in the last battle, my extra tip is to use slow and any chance you have Muggle Mine, it helps A LOT getting him staggered faster!

ATTENTION ALL: This build only works if you are good at precision blocking _every single one_ of the fast moving purple orbs and dodging Eldritch Horror when it happens. If you can't do that, you NEED Chakra. Just swap out the poison and petrify materia for that. Otherwise, it's simply not possible.

Damn! I’m trying to get better at blocking but I’m really not good at it. Even the scorpion beats the hell outta me most time. This is a good build I know I just gotta practice but I’ll try this too.

@@akhafasu i got the Squid boss’s health half way down whenever I posted the original comment but that big ass rock he threw at me killed me. It’s doable I just gotta practice a bit. I’m still young but getting older so I definitely don’t game for as long as I used to. I try one task on the VR thing a few times a day each day. I blew thru the other single challenges pretty much I’m just terrible with Aerith and Cait.

I ended up using SteadFast Block Materia Earrings since I could "easily" beat the first 4 rounds without the need of dealing over 9999 at once. That also helped me get ATB by blocking the Mindflyer projectiles!

Mindflayer was an ass, mostly because I suck at blocking, but I eked out a win with one HP and zero MP!

I had to combine multiple guides. The first 4 are simple enough. If you gang up on the mindflayer you can keep him to a regular pattern. I had to make sure the moogle in was in good health but I used physical attacks and used ice when I had atp

Wow this one was the worst of all the individual challenges. Thanks again for the guide, just gotta say as others, I went a little more defensive with Steadfast block instead of Bioga for the last battle... And now onto Bonds of Friendship! (I'm scared lol)

How necessary are the Genji Gloves for this setup? Going through the video, unless I missed something, the only time more than 9999 damage was done was against the Gi warriors in round 2, who are still easily wiped out without the extra damage. If so, maybe a different accessory would suit this build better, (my mind jumps to the Malboro Orb to extend the length of Stop to get more damage in while they're staggered)
Def gonna be trying this build out though. Having no luck against the Mindflayer so far. Maybe this can bring me to victory
Yes, you can change the accessory to your liking. I used it just to be done with round two. Because sometime the Gi will give you a very hard time if they are not killed quickly. They’ve got some brutal attacks. So equip whatever suits you :)
I did it by blending your strategy together with another guide I saw

Can you even dodge or survive eldtrich horror? He’s never not targeted me, he never shoots it at the moogle, has ended my run several times already
Using limit break avoids it. He shot it at me 3 times on the run I completed it I used limit break toy box all 3 times to avoid it. You could try casting manawall.
Wait a second and then dodge with circle. Worked for me
I hate the mindflyer. But I won't give up

Minelayer is so hard. Failed 4 times so far on him :( need chakra for HP I think.
He can be a pain. Just keep your distance and make sure to summon your Moogle if it dies. Bioga it twice to greatly reduce its HP via poison

@@beZZy0303 I understand. That laser can be a pain. His balls and attacks can be avoided if you’re at a good distance
@@beZZy0303Mindflayer is tricky. I ended up testing him on the biology mission to learn his attacks and what was blockabale etc. try that.

Switched out my weapon to Resounding Megaphone and equipped
Moogle Decoy x2
Moogle Sentinel x2
(Due to it being 5 slot weapon at level 9, I dropped Poison/Petrify Materia.)

Your build and strategy is not helping me against the Mindflayer. He teleports way too close to me and uses Astral Apprehension, and I can't get away fast enough. This is incredibly frustrating, I am this close to just putting Elemental and Lightning in my goddam armor.
EDIT: Yeah, if you're not good at avoiding Eldritch Horror or blocking the fast moving purple orbs, this fight is impossible without Chakra. I had to use that in order to win.
Not sure what the issue is, but you can keep running and his Astral Apprehension won’t connect. Don’t stand at a place and attack when you see him disappear
sorry man the mindflayer round 5 starts blasting magic and 2 hits OVER! its done not even the red attack, just basic magic and its over.... No wonder most gamers laugh at this company.... 140 million can't be wrong...
You need to block. If you have a Gotterdammurung you can use it for a limit break
