- In this video I get a 1999 Honda GX620 10k Watt Generator running again. I fit a battery, test spark, clean the carburetor, fix a solenoid. Then I give it a first start and do a test and tune.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video you saved me a trip to the shop!
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment.
DUDE! Thanks so much for the video! Same engine in my tractor, and had exact same problem! Thanks for your expertise!
Thank you very much! My 2003 Big Country Cub Cadet 6x4 has the same engine and this information is going to help! I did not see if you check the fuel pump? or it was not an issue?
Thanks , your carburetor is what I need now , Do you have new one ? or replace one ?
What was the solution you had in the ultrasonic cleaner? Just water?
I use water and the simple green hd (purple color) 70/30. Sometimes I throw in a little dish soap as well.
Good job man.where can i get carburator cleaning machine?
What did you do with the wires from the old wiring harness coming from the motor
great vid buddy
Thanks for watching
I have the exact same generator. I think I got mine in 2002 from Harbor Freight and it is identical and it has always had a surging issue with the auto idle and i need to check the spring on mine.
It’s a great generator but the carburetor seems to be the biggest issue. Those springs are hard to setup correctly.
Try Pine sol, it works well in mine
Thank you. Very nice details explanation
Thanks for watching!
I have this generator . Dogs eat all the wiring off, key switch, idle control. Is there a chance you can send me picture of all the out side wires.please.
Nick Cooper.
Muchas gracias!
hey i have the same exact machine i have found the oil screw on the left what is the same screw on the right
Not sure what you are asking, are you talking about the oil drain plug? I think you might be able to drain the oil from both sides, next time you change the oil you can check and see.
One thing I do is get hot tap water in cleaner, saves time and heating it up
Drain tank and get the rust out and new filter would be nice
I’m surprised how people just don’t take care of there equipment
