- Now that you’ve got your results, some of you may not be satisfied with your grades. Here is the plan of action to follow if that’s the case; whether to apply for a recheck, retake the exam or opt for a gap year. If you’re in this dilemma, this video is for you.

hello sir, I was very confident about getting more than 90% in AS maths, but somehow i got 81%, however my S1 exam was very good still I got 37/50(raw marks) which I cannot believe. My teachers are discouraging me for recheck telling that british council checking are usually very accurate, and they are advising me to give retake if I am very confident about my maths preparation.I am very confused now
How did you know the percentage

the thing is you need to be organized, ap ye na kaho yar abhi 2 saal hai aram se parhenge, aur bohat pressure hojata hai imagine giving 12+ exams in on go. pro tip : AS me serious parhna and apply for uni just after a2 exam , just AS me serious hojana wasta hai ider rull gaye humm

In as level i got an A in bio and an A in chem but in physics i have c(p1) b(p2) c(p3) making an overall 'b' owing to the fact that the field is of medicine and A* can't be compromised.
So should I go for composite next m/j or work extremely hard to achieve A*?

i'm no professional in this case, but you should go for a retest in physics because most medical schools dont even allow you to sit the entry test with a minimum of 3as. thats what my knowledge is
Aoa sir I got 3 A in As ( maths , chem , physics) I did great in A2 exam as well and my expected grades sent to Cambridge were also A* in all three subjects. But in A2 I got A in physics and maths B in chemistry. Should I go for recheck. I have got admission in engineering bachelors as well and my result satisfies my university requirements.

As is first year of A levels and A2 is second
Taking AS helps in easing out workload while composite provides more time for practice and gets you a lead on AS syllabus. But you should always follow the same route for all subjects, whether AS or composite.

Yes
You should give a complete retake p3 essentially contains p1 content so that’s not an issue. Only issue would be mechanics but I’d recommend if you want an A do composite. If you’re aiming for a B, go for only A2
for those of you who are saying that well work hard and convert our C to A*
Bruh the weightage is 50/50 so go and calculate

Hey, I would highly recommend you to go for urdu because after the component change (from 9608 to 9618) in CS ... grade nhi aata ... tried and tested baat bol raha hun ... i got a D in As and an E in A2 ... so go for Urdu or any other subject.

@@liba_360 the subject CS is not needed for admission in any university whether it be fast or iba or habib ... drop CS and go for an easy subject.

Zain Sir, I want to give my maths P1,S1,P3 and M1 in the next upcoming May June 2023 after getting a D grade this year..Is this a good decision? I promise to practise a lot only thing that worry me is my financial crisis for registration and Time clash of exams..
If with this grade in Math you are able to get into your desired university, then I would not suggest retaking the exam. Its okay to go with it.
If that’s not the case and you need to improve the grade for university, then practice hard and opt for retake next year.

It's is possible. You need to give best of your best in P3 and M1.

Even if you get a 100 in A2 your overall marks will be A(85)
agr strong B hai to phir chance hai mushkil kam hai par ho sakta hai A2 maths AS maths se bohat mushkil hai to workload ziada hoga par kar lo ge Inshallah best of luck brother ♥
Depends on your components. A is quite possible but A* is mushkil sey possible.

I got my islamiyat olevels grade a while back and I was 100% sure my p1 was A* but I got a literal C . I checked the ms and I wrote everything EVERYTHING in ms with more details
Yes I agree I might have made a few errors obv yes I did but it was not this bad that my grade for p1 would go from A to C . My overall grade is B but I don't like this because of my uphill efforts
It's fine just move on same happened to me in my Alevels maths where I get to score a c somehow even though my paper went well. Alhamdulillah,I later on managed to score A+ in calculus in one of the top notch unis of pakistan

C can go to B but A k liye apko kafi mehnat krni hogi means bhout ziada and A* I don’t think is possible
