My view after listening this video is that lot size increase is to facilitate big players option sellers only . Since option buyers volume is increasing it will be easy for sellers to curtail everything . Same case as rbi measure for 2000 rs introduction I feel . As you said it will not make any impact in small players volume

முதலில் sebi leverage ஐ cut பண்றதன் மூலமாக.... small and medium players winning rate ஐ குறைச்சாங்க....
இப்போது small and medium players மாற்று வழியை கண்டுபிடித்தவுடன்.... அதையும் cut பண்றாங்க....

Option , F & O could be banned. In TN any speculation which gives windfall profit or loss is banned. The motive is to ban lottery. It might be applicable to F&O. Many ordinary people loose in it.
SEBI could increase investor base. Many new issues should come and for which the Govt could give more attention.

The reason for these high taxes on F&O is mainly to discourage middle class from trading as they are ones loosing heavily while the big traders like P R Sundar make huge profits at the cost smaller traders.
