    Damn man, mad chops right there. At first i thought you are in your teens because you look really young and i got depressed cuz my 25-year old ass would struggle with this pretty hard. Then looked you up and realised i missed up a lot.
    But i am still depressed tho. Nevertheless, great points and thank you for doing this stuff, always good to hear useful stuff after being done with university. Consider providing us with paypal link too, in fact, that is the only link you did not provide. Do it man, even if only a couple of us dumbasses end up giving you a buck each, still feels nice to know we supported you a little bit at least.

    I know I’m a little late but how do you play without your forearm or wrists getting tired because after about halfway mine get too tired to play and I don’t want to push them to play the whole song incase of injuring them cheers

    • @CharlieAlbrightPianist
      @CharlieAlbrightPianist  3 месяца назад

      You are right...don't push yourself if you feel tight, strained, etc...that can lead to injuries. It's important to stay loose whenever you're playing. There are ways to help with this, and they include taking mini rests/breaks whenever possible throughout the piece while you're playing, even if they're small ones; keeping your wrists/elbows/hands/fingers/arms flexible and moving (not rigid); rotating your hands/wrists instead of only moving your fingers; etc. This would be a good LTP episode (will write it down for a possible future video!).
      Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Maybe thats why I dont like the classical to romantic era. Too much chromaticism. Swing used it a lot too. Along with a lot of 7ths. I prefer Bach and Vivaldi

      Bach and Vivaldi are pretty awesome! My personal preference is late classical through romantic, but I can appreciate some good 'ol Bach too! :)

      @@CharlieAlbrightPianist Yup. Air, Arioso, Well Tempered, Jesu Joy, Cello Concerto 1. He makes Pachelbel sound like an amateur though to the casual listener they are the same. No. Bach is more complex. He shift keys mid bar. McCartney and Bacharach can do that. And not simple, raise the whole song a half or whole step. The key shifts are part of a melody. McCartney had an uncanny ability to do that in his 20s.
