It's really astonishing how unique every single pianist's tone is. I may have listened to Etude No 11 a hundred times, but it feels just so new when someone else plays it.
Its easy compared to 25 6 and 25 6 is played pretty often. Op 25 11 isnt played as often as 25 6 because the pianists who want to show how good they are are playing 25 6
@@theowinckel I think it's more because this piece is quite repetitive and gets boring after the first few minutes. There's also not much chance to show of musically and then obviously since it's quite hard it's not really worth the risk playing for most pianists unless they already are really comfortable with the piece.
this piece needs a lot (yes A LOT) of stamina to play, and the rapid running notes are very tricky to play correctly, especially given the pressure from the audience
@@theowinckel I play both op. 25 11 and op. 25 6 and I think 25/11 is harder than 25/6, I think 25/11 isn't performed a lot because it consumes a lot of energy and causes a lot of tension...
There are dozens of ways people can play Chipin. Sime religiously stick to the metronym, other are a freelancing a bit. I've got a very specific preference when it comes to playing Chopin. And this video is how I imagined Chopin played it himself.
The left thumb stumbles on an f where the semioctave structure ends, it happens with people who visually landmark while practicing, and is almost unavoidable.
every page starts with chromatic descending runs, which are relatively "easy" compared to the rest of the etude and really dont require sight with no big movements outside of the left hand but thats just simple muscle memory
Of course, I'm not even close to that level today, and what I say mayber doesn't matter. I also wanto to stress that I thought it was amazingly good, My comment above had no meaning to say it was not
Repent and trust in Jesus. Hes the only way. We deserve Hell because weve sinned. Lied, lusted stolen, etc. But God sent his son to die on the cross and rise out of the grave. We can receive forgiveness from Jesus. Repent and put your trust in him. John 3:16 Romans 3:23❤😊❤❤

Wonderful. I love his style, he is so suited for Chopin.

Nigdy dotąd nie słyszałem tak doskonałego wykonania tej etiudy we wszystkich kryteriach ocen.
I had the opportunity to listen to Szymon live, it was wonderful.
Smoothest Winter Wind I've ever heard man
Bro’s a freakin beast! He played it so fast!!
Like the opening, look at that hands and touches, he makes it look like effortlessly.

Musicality of scale and arpeggio and musical phrases are fluency.
His fingers were very long. I envy.
Such a strong left hand, and great voicing. Kissin is a beast.
Yes! The fluidity!
The best winter wind lv ever herd brooooo😮
Cant believe a minor and c major are one of the hardest etudes despite being the easiest scales
Quite the opposite, a minor and c Major are notoriously awkward
Tempo half note = 63 to 66 equal to tempo quarter note = 126 to 132
Such a powerful interpretation! I’m inspired. I’ve tried my own take on 'Winter Wind,' and if you’re interested, I'd love for you to hear it.
Why don't more people play this piece in the competition?
It’s extremely hard. Without mention that the pressure to play it in a competition will increases the difficulty to perform it in public.

This is a piece that is difficult for the right hand for ordinary people and difficult for the left hand for pianists.
