Excited to see how film look creator compares to dehancer. I was actually about to purchase it because I think the bloom/halation is better, but honestly I'm enjoying how film look creator is working. Looking forward to your perspective!
I love your work man! Your channel it's one of the best color grading places, I've learned a lot. I'm starting with some works for social media, but some clients are asking for TV and cine trailers. I hope your can tech us how to deliver for TV and Cine. I don't know if you hace to work on 709 or what is the correct way. Thanks man!
For tv its basically the same, just deliver to the online editor as ProRes422 HQ and they will downscale from there. As for cinema, it’s the same as well. Any convertion of color space will be done by the Digital Cinema Package DCP technician to fit their cinema preferences. So we don’t have to do anything extra for different deliveries. If you’re delivering social content for cinema, then you’ll have to find a DCP guy or learn how to do the DCP process.
You'd need enough resolution on your screen to enable it, if you do, go to bottom right - Keyframe palette, and click on the Separate Primaries and Secondaries icon (below Info pallete icon)
Thanks for the fast video Danny! Question for you - will there be an update to your PowerGrade templates for DaVinci Resolve 19? Or will this transition with no issues?
The Visionary PowerGrades V4 still stands for the moment, I will try to test the new functions and see if they can be used for a new PowerGrade template!
Hello, I've just discovered your channel, I subscribe and I like! Thanks for your videos, very good format (+/-10mn), precise, clear and fast! I've just started using Resolve. What do you think of the "Shot macth to this clip" setting? I'm asking because I'm new to Resolve, and I used this method to test a LUT. Regards
Thanks for the subs! Personally, I don't use that function as much because it doesn't give accurate results, but it is a very useful (and quick) tool if you don't know how to balance clips properly using the Primaries.
@@Tharunjpeg No, they included more features, but it doesn't come with the Davinci Resoilve Studio license included because it's meant for iPad users who bought DaVinci Resolve through the Apple App Store. Hence why the price is lower.

@@DannyGan The price seems to be very low, did they do any downgrade from the old one in terms of features?

@@DannyGan but you can use it on the pc too right?
@@smepable seems like it. It comes with USB-C and Bluetooth capabilities. But I can only be sure once I tested it out.
