Source? The car physics of GTA are too different from Midtown Madness. The game that reused the physics was the first Midnight Club.

@@Victor_2000s It's the AGE engine (Angel Gamestudio Engine), which is the predecessor of RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine) as Angel Studios became Rockstar San Diego. The older GTA games used Renderware until EA aquired Criterion. IIRC
