When I was younger, I remember that the first thing I did every day after coming back from school was launching MM2 with full traffic and no cops. I was just cruising around, following traffic rules and chilling, getting mad every time when AI decided to crash in me. I didn't know much about computers so I didn't know how to play some music in the background. I had my mp3 with only one song - "World, hold on" so I listened it every time I played. I'm from Poland so at the time I didn't understand any word from the song and still managed to memorise whole lirics. I also remember that I wanted to have something like speed limiter that would follow road speed limit so I set the transmission mode at manual and drove it only on 1st gear. I don't know if I even tried to complete the career. After several Windows updates I couldn't launch this game anymore, it crashed every time when main menu opened. Then I started playing some NFS, I fell in love with ETS, even tried Forza. But to this day, there is no other game that could give me that much fun from just driving without any destination.
Cool to see you cover the Midtown Madness franchise. For what I know, Midtown Madness 1 & 2 and still being actively played online and modded. Over the years many cool mods have been published (e.g. 128 opponent races, new racepacks, new cities, single player CnR).
Funny Enough the Midnight Club series was created as a spiritual successor to the Midtown Madness series, made by the same developers who became Rockstar San Diego and eventually lent their engine to be used as the RAGE engine.
A huge chunk of childhood was spent playing the second game. It saddens me to see modern racing games still lack features present in these two decades+ games (Like pedestrians)
can you list me all the patches for midtown madness 2 to be ran at 4k 60fps? i also get this memory allocation error crash in mm2 after colliding with traffic using a super sonic vehicle that exceeds 900 mph in MM1 i use Anakin's pod racer and the game does not crash when going fast.
Why do I feel like the idea of going on your own track instead of the intended one, pretty much predated Burnout Paradise that also uses the same idea as this game's series, so is the idea of peds dodging from the car predating NFS Unbound that does the same thing?
Absolutely not! Oceanofgames has a LOT of viruses and the main virus found in their files is named Avenger AIO. This virus CANNOT be uninstalled once installed. You have to reinstall 😊@@Duper_ofc

My first pc game
I have been searching for this game for more than 5 years!
More like De-Evolution
Why doesn't visionless microsoft make a continuation of this series?
Long before Forza Horizon, I played this 😅

Hello, where can I download mm1?
