In my opinion Super mario sunshine is a very good game, Just that Blue coins suck, and i had to google half the shines because they give allmost no hints at all, and also some shines are just to easy and some are just too hard
The biggest take away from Sunshine is that Mario games need to bring back corny voice acting. Funny to think how Koizumi and Aonuma coincidentally made games with heavy beach aesthetics around the same time.

The other was Wind Waker. Both were also on the GameCube.
Unpopular opinion: I prefer Mario Sunshine over Mario 64.
Absolutely excellent review, I pretty much mostly agree with this, I will always die on the hill that Sunshine is a great game
I admit super mario sunshine is pretty cool.But one of the best 3D platformers in my opinion is kirby forgotten land
Kirby 64 is one of my favorite Kirby games. Almost got the forgotten land but still not entirely sure.
