Very appealing young man but he didn't apply what Te Kanawa taught him. Not unusual. Masterclasses are terrible for most singers. He is artificially darkening his voice through muscle constriction and tongue position, and he's pushing himself right off pitch in the process - several times. It's quite obvious in this performance; modifying vowels and tiring prior to completion, the sound becoming more and more from the throat. Don't sing on your capital, dude. Sing on your reserve.
Definitely not the voice for Nemorino! Listen to Carlo Bergonzi or Tito Schipa or Ferruccio Tagliavini or, to mention a tenor of today, Michael Spyres, how "Una Fortiva Lagrima" has to be sung!
this is pure false information. you did NOT win at all. tje overal winner was the Italian, the Colombian entrance won the audio award, Korean singer song choice. shame on you to present yourself as winner here. a Cardiff competitor unworthy. I will definately complain about this to the organisation!!!

@@vasylsolodkyy4684 Perhaps @Annamaria-iq1wy means you are a bit too tense in unhelpful areas such as your chest or neck muscles which makes your sound less free and allows fewer dynamics and less coloratura. To allow the passion of your singing to fully communicate, it must be set free and soar into the air without a care (like a bird). One exercise I find useful at the moment is to imitate many different singers as accurately as I can in an effort to find my true voice. (However you are a much better singer than me) Humans are built to imitate - babies learn how to do everything through it. Nevertheless you are an excellent artist and you sing much better than 99.9% of the world's population and I'm sure you already do or have done this imitation exercise. Very well done on making it to the final it is well deserved as you make a beautiful tone in your voice, your diction is clear and you have a good musicality (although by freeing up your voice, it can be made much better).
