Should use heat trace cable and leave it in the pipe all year round. Then you plug it in or switch it on during winter and it’ll never freeze. Love the videos
Chet thanks for sharing the jetter on a pressure washer to unclog a line. After watching your video I bought one to unclog my pond overflow pipe that I was told that was probably caused by a wintering turtle. It worked like a charm!!!! Thanks again
Thanks for another great video Chet. It was interesting and enjoyable as always. Wow. Lots of busy items on this video. Good to see Toby running around. Looks like he is using that leg. Hope it heals ok with no surgery. You take care Toby!!!! Hey, I really like that hose device you got to open up the drain pipe. Brody was running for his life when the end started flying around. Could hurt you bad I think. That device sure opened the drain pipe. No problem. Good to have that. The alarm on the dump trailer sure got Dougo ‘s attention. Wow. It was surely loud. The lights you put on will work good when needed. Looks like you all got it ready for this summer. Good to get the belly dump wired so any truck can pull it. Nice work on that hookup. Next project is the soybean planter. Will be interesting getting all that switched over. Erik, you take care with the dental work. I hope your mouth is feeling better soon. Take care my friend. The pictures your took of the shop with Eric cleaning the floor really shows how big the shop is. Neat. Of course, it fills up fast with big machinery. Thanks Chet. About it for now. I will be quiet now. Sorry I misspelled Eric name on the dental sentence. Did not want to rewrite it all. Sorry Eric. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything with the filming and editing Chet. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
That cleared out your drain. Our county comes around with a similar set up on the county truck to open culverts to eliminate flooding. We're still cold here in northeast Michigan. Snow flurries with 1-3 inches snow today. April 18th
Watching farming videos like this channel and Mike Mitchell is about the only thing on RUclips that gives me hope anymore. Farmers are about the only ones who aren’t PC,who are solving real world problems and who are planning for the future. 🙂
THe shop is looking nice, the new oil rack and tool cart turned out great. Doug’o was right on with the submarine sounding alarm. Y’all got a lot done this winter.
I think you should paint "Dumpy 2.0" as the Big Swede called the new trailer, red so it will match the Quad tracks. Always look forward to your new videos. Keep up the Great job on videos and everyone stay safe. Looking forward to planting season. It's great seeing you, Big Swede and Brody as young men coming up in the farming industry. Stay safe Chet and tell Dougo, Amy and Randy we said hi.
Good job you guys. Nice clean shop floor. Dump function fixed. Lights that'll wake the dead hooked up. And the usual shenanigans took place. My teeny tiny little Colombian Wife Maria would love operating that floor cleaner. Heck, she'd do it for free if I know her.. Just makes sure she's got a fresh hot cup of coffee and she's good to go.. Colombian coffee of course. . Hey,, whats with the snow and ice in the middle of April?? I remember seeing that up in Traverse City Michigan in May. It's a big part of why I've in deep deep S. Florida 5 miles above the 18 mile stretch to the Keys. Our snow comes in a cone with raspberry syrup on top of it. I got my wisdom teeth taken out before I was allowed to fly Coast Guard Grumman HU16e Albatross seaplanes. It sucks having the dentist with his knees on your chest pulling like he's landing a 100 pound Tuna like he had to with mine. Then there's the pain after because you can't take pain medication 3 days before you fly a check flight.
I think you, dougo, big Swede and Brody and Randy should do another live sometime soon and answer questions everyone sends in. I'm interested in seeing what all big Swede has going on with the rented ground. Are you all going to farm it as if was part of your own and figure out costs for his acres. How many acres did he rent.
Fun thing to do to the bellydump, put a valve on the big air tank that runs the gates. They inevitably leak air overnight and you always have a lot of pumping in the morning. Shut that valve when you park and it's ready to go the next time!
Happy Easter to the Larson gang. Glad to see Toby out and about. Im 64 and still have all my wisdom teeth, not sure if that's the difference between being an Irish Eric and a Swedish Erik or what. But hang in there Big Swede.
Wow that. Roxy can move pretty fast. Glad you got that drain unplugged. You found out how to get Dougo out ther in the shop. Just turn on the backup alarm. Lol. Cool video you guys. Take care and have a good one. 👍👍👍❤️
Those water jet blasters are amazing they work on dirt plugs and grit in floor drains to ,I watched burnison plumbing unclog a floor drain to the street when working out in Huron .the best I ever seen that drain work in five years was slow ,when they were done it would take all the water you could feed it. But be careful with it . It's like an airless paint sprayer ,it can puncture your skin not good at all it happens . Love the video keep up the great work guys thanks...
I think it’s very cool that you’all make sure that everything works - the right way - versus some sort of band aid solution. Super impressive. 💪👍🏼 (more lights the better - just saying)
I hope the Big Swede wisdom tooth gets better nothing worse than a bad tooth. Chet we have a jet hose at my work and it work well in our drains as well. Nice to see Dougo. Can’t wait for planting season to start. Stay safe and have fun daily.
I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth on a Friday and went back to work full time on Monday. It hurt a bit but no as bad as trying to eat lunch the first day back. It took most of the afternoon to finish but luckily I was driving a semi and had time to do it. I have since had to have all my teeth removed because of complications after an accident I was in. Yes, good times.
Great video i have been watching over a year now never miss it .You should paint the dump trailer red or green. I Have seen one of them half inch power washer go up a 100 feet up a pipe and then turning it self around and coming back down towards us keep up the good work .
An idea for you… I have a daylight drain from my garage kind of like you have for your shop I ran a roof deicer cable inside the drain pipe and when it starts to freeze in the winter time I just plug it in for a while to melt out some of the ice and get the water flowing again, works great, I just leave the cable in the drain year-round
Chet, if you want to see how plumbers use that tool do a search for either Penetrator or Drain Addict (both are overseas) as both of them use jetters to clean blocked pipes. Yeah some of what they do I would not be wanting to try.
Eric just hope your not as lucky as me I had my wisdom teeth removed and two of them grew back in. I am glad Toby is using his leg I love beagles we had one named sport when I was growing up.
you should dig that pipe up and put 2 or 3 inch of foam insulation on it or keep that hose real handy, Look like sediment and gunk building up in the pipe . the big swede could use auto steer on Martin
Eric, since it was a wisdom tooth, shouldn't you have asked to have a couple extra put in? LOL. Chet, I'm glad Toby's doing better. Give him scritches for me. Dougo, as ever, "whatever". Brody, you fit right in! Blessings to all from Pastor Bill in Ohio.
Has Dougo ever driven a zamboni? I bet it would be a lot like driving that floor scrubber around. I believe you call floor that floor scrubber Martin if I am not mistaken.
Erik, the one thing you don't want to happen is for that clot to come out, because you can get dry socket, and that is very painful. I had all 4 of mine yanked at the same time, and one of them i got the dry socket, and it was not good, because it happened on a weekend. I know these vids run behind a couple day's, so hoping it's okay. God bless.
So Chet left the air hose hooked up to the truck tire to fill but never came back to see if it was full. How much air do you think it will take before the tire explodes?
With our shop the air compressor is set at 120psi. If you clip the hose to it and walk away until the air compressor shuts off it is 100psi every time. Truck tires will take well into 200psi.
@@Drew-in-NoDak I started my mechanic apprenticeship in the seventh grade and after three years I started my engine machinist apprenticeship. Both ran for four years before I was allowed to be on my own. In my time I have never seen a shop run their air pressure at such a low psi so this is why I asked the question about the tire being left to inflate unattended. Great show love to watch. I have a friend that buys and sells and repairs older farm equipment.
Have you seen the guy on the tube from Australia I believe that does the drain cleaning as in being stopped up. I can’t remember his channel name but he uses things like that
Another great vid, thanks! I'm a bit curious, are you setting up as a backup to GPS navigation, having the International Space Station able to see all your LED lights from orbit? (Aren't they awesome!?!)
Hey Chet, drain addict has some crazy video's on cleaning out drain tiles from the street to the house, and any other serious clogged pipe issue's. The guy has a hose he runs through that cuts out the tree roots and dirt, looks kinda like the thing you used, but about ten times bigger. I was trying not to get sick watching the guy get covered with sewage, but he has some kind of foam he gets soaked with to protect him from getting sick from being hosed in poo. If you ever have roots and other stuff plugging up any drain lines check out his youtube channel.
does Toby have Lyme disease? my Tanker (he's a 100% tri beagle like Toby) has a stiff limb from time to time clears up in a few days vet believes it's from his lyme... Snoopy his brother from the same litter... has no lyme.. never ever had a limp
Chet Eric Broodie and Dougo and Toby great video loved it like the drain cleaner got the trailer done chet great job thank you all And Happy Easter to you all never miss one video and can't wait for next one.
you guys need to put plastic sump pump wells in where that water is supposed to run out and put a pump in there to pump it out when the well gets full and you won't have that god bless
Toby is the star of the show,if u ever want to look for a home for him I would gladly take him.
Erik, 5/22 is coming and I may not renew the contract because of that comment. You know the contract I’m talking about!😉

Floor drains weren't plugged with ice but their outlet was. A tile that drains properly doesn't freeze

That is a slick idea, using high pressure to clear blocked drains. Even smarter to use rear jets to force it deeper. Good demo.
I hope the Big Swede wisdom tooth gets better nothing worse than a bad tooth. Chet we have a jet hose at my work and it work well in our drains as well. Nice to see Dougo. Can’t wait for planting season to start. Stay safe and have fun daily.

That type of force drain line is used on large trucks to clean sewers and storm drains. Works awesome.
You guys should put an end gate in the new dump trailer. Be a nice muddy field corn hauler
Like your jet wash it’s magic for cleaning Drains I have used it lots of times very successful Chet
Today in Houston we had 82 degrees. Farmers have put their seeds in the ground and waiting for some rain!

Nick Welker the star doing advertising for Yacum rope Cool
Very happy Easter from sunny Scotland to all at Larsen farms.

I have a similar jet for cleaning my koi pond pipes it’s brilliant

Did you guys buy Millennial Farmers Mowergate zeroturn?
if you have freezing issues with it you could put waterproof heat tape down the length of the pipe to keep it from freezing up on you.
*- A three solutions video. Wow ! ! !*
I also watch the drain Addict and he uses a Jetter hose too clean sewer lines. He even has a head that removes roots. Take a look at it
Glad Toby is feeling better! Keep rinsing with that salt water Erik!
Happy Easter Larson Farms ✝️
Anyone else catch the unthaw..... Happy easter

Chet, put some grommets around the wires where they go thru the metal. It will cut your wires if you don't fix that.

Have your self an happy Easter
Great videos keep it up 👍
Happy Easter to entire Larson family
