I Almost Got FIRED...

- I started the video with full intentions of continuing the quest of cleaning the basement in my 1917 Farm house. My plans quickly changed once I started transferring corn - or tried to. After getting every auger unfrozen, I started cleaning out the big bin. While I was cleaning out the big bin, Daddy Cornstar finally started to feel better so he started working on the lights in the 1988 Freightliner semi. After Dad finished on the semi, I had a major corn spill. Luckily, DC was not there or my job could have been on the line. Ronnie showed up for three loads of corn as I continued cleaning out the big bin.
The next day I continued my mission in the bin and DC and Cooper ran over to get the 16 row planter out of storage. Once they got it hooked up, they brought the planter back to the main heated shop. On the third day, DC changed engine oil in Summer's two cars and tore into the planter to figure out what needs to be replaced.
Thank you for watching!

Not going to lie, I have absolutely ZERO interest in farming. However, your work ethic and commitment to the Lord is beyond amazing and it's incredibly refreshing. Keep up the great work and for being an inspiration for what our generation can really be!
Nice to hear someone who doesn't want to bash us GenZters
ThatBigGuy824 Thank you!
I have been farming for 45 years and with prices where they are I have no interest in it either.
When God is placed First among Firsts... everything else falls right into place...
FemQWho?? What does that even mean?
Glad Daddy Cornstar is feeling better!
I was in Harbor Freight this morning and saw they had a box of teflon tape with more rools than I have used in my lifetime or probably would. Immediately thought of y'all.
tbirdracefan was that p tape, or plumber’s tape?
@@anndalynnketellapper8296 Well I just looked it up on the website and they do call it Plumber's Tape. I have always refered to it as Teflon tape.Perhaps "Teflon" is a trademarked name?
Your channel is fascinating. Please don't stop any time soon. I feel like more people need to watch.
Ok Cole, you're good looking...That on top of being a hard worker and a good mentor for other young men your age. Impressive!
I enjoy your videos a lot. Thank you! Guy's i know it's a lot of extra work to bring us along for part of the ride!
I’ve been binge watching you for the past couples weeks. Oddly satisfying to watch.. keep making videos brotha! Have a lot of respect of what you guys do
No one gets things cleaned like you!!!
Good Daddy Cornstar's feeling better....
Cole I really appreciate your videos. You are inspiring, informative and entertaining. I love your explanations of how equipment works. Makes my inner 5 year old child squeal with excitement.
Love ya cornstars!!!!!
Awesome video thanks for sharing good to see daddy koRn star feeling better 👍👍👍👍
Thankful that you are better, DC!
God's blessings on the Cornstar family!
Glad you're feeling better Daddy Cornstar.
I just bought stock in Heinz Ketchup and I'll be able to retire in 2022! Thanks DC.
Should invest in Teflon tape too. That’s “low” for him.
Fun with Corn and Cole the Cornstar!!! Great video! Thank you for Sharing!
Thanks again, for the best and most entertaining videos on RUclips. All of you are individuals to be imitated. God bless all of you.
Beryl Hood Thank you!
"That haven't been every light working on the front." Huh?? Daddy CS is THE BEST!
No, I can't answer my phone right now... Cole just uploaded a video!!!
I got grown kids, I'm addicted to Cole & his family, so dang sweet, all of 'em.
I grew up in Iowa but know very little about farming. Your videos are informative and you have a wonderful family! Thank you for sharing!
Cole. I think you got it going on bud. With everything. Rock on with your life.
Daddy Cornstar has to change oil on 3 vehicles. Plus, his typical duties, after battling a bug? I think, Daddy Cornstar is owed a GREAT BIG PIZZA! (or two).
With plenty of Heinz ketchup!
Hear hear !!! With extra Heinz t sauce
If I ever asked my father in-law to change my oil he would pull my man card.
@@craigmiller5372 that's what I was thinking he doesn't have a son-in-law he has a daughter in law it's very least he should be there in learning he's lucky enough to have a shop to be able to do it inside and not have to do it in the driveway in the cold
Craig Miller our son in law is a gem! He’s very talented but not super mechanical:)
Im a 22 year old farm boy from Montana, and you're quickly becoming my favorite channel. Keep it up my man, youre shedding a lot of light on what it's like to be a farmer and making all of us young ag producers proud!
Daddy cornstar great to hear you feel better,
Really appreciate the temperature in degrees Celsius.👍🏻
Hi Cole, you might not see this but my mom passed away February 4th 2020, and we buried her on the 7th. Now I’m left with bills and photos and just her memory. I enjoy your channel and love to see you farm, fix things and organize your spaces. I thought I might just mention my mom’s love for Heinz ketchup. She would never accept any other brand. So daddy corn star showing it and talking about it makes me think of my mom. It’s good and I’m glad for it. Carry on young man! 👍🏼✝️❤️
Cole, you are good looking, funny, and entertaining. Thanks for showing the hard work and dedication and pride that farmers have. You are showing that a hero is not only those that fight for our country, but those that keep us fed.
Thank you so much for taking the time to put the temp in Celsius in your videos! It’s very appreciated and makes it much easier to keep up without disrupting the flow for those of us who aren’t used to Fahrenheit (hope that made sense, non-native English-speaker here!). Take care!
Of course!
Yay...just got home and my favorite channel is on!
Add a couple of led lights facing the trailer for loading.
Always enjoy. Love the blame sharing too. Nice quick Cooper cameo as well. 👍
Cole you guy's have an awesome dad.God bless all of your family.
Cole never quits!!!! ... Or gives up!!! 💪
Dude...be DANG careful going in those bins, I know YOU know the dangers, but still...just be EXTREMELY careful! We love you!❤
Mary Lou I'm standing on the floor, it's safe. 😇
With the auger running, working on your own
@@martinjohnson4264 right! Scares me!
Thanks for the Celsius readings. I’m sweating where I live in Australia. Currently 36 degrees Celsius was 43 degrees Celsius yesterday. Love all the snow.
That Freightlinr is a beautiful piece of machinery. Keep it well. They are becoming a rare thing.
"Cool the Cornstar" (0:16)...Alter ego that emerges when wearing the Vipers? Love your videos! I spenting a lot of my youth in that area. Enjoy it.
Debbie Denny “Cold the Cornstar” when he forgets his coat and gloves.
Thanks for the celsius reference 🤙🏽🇨🇦
Troy B of course!
I love the way everyone on the farm wears clothing and hats with farm suppliers names on it. Very cool look.
So happy you’re feeling better Daddy CornStar! Always love these videos! ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️👍
Heinz ketchup should pay Daddy corn star for advertising 😂😂
Yes yes they should
I think they do actually, but speculation on my end. Advertising isnt free.
If anything some cool Heinz t shirts and a box or two of ketchup!
Maybe if he sang along with Stompin' Tom to The Ketchup Song ruclips.net/video/PiGb31e5ydo/видео.html
It’s obvious he already is. Who has that much ketchup?
1:13 OMG THX SO MUCH FOR THE CELSIUS CONVERT, ALMOST NOONE DOES THAT
every. single. bit. of. progress. makes me SO Happy for You!! Stay warm. Stay safe. Wish I was there to help you out...that corn. wow. XoXoX.
As my body degreeses and my memory gets worse, I watch you and pray for you. Sometimes I get my need to help you overwhelm me and then it sounds like criticism when it is really not meant that way and then you hit back hard and my feeling are hurt too. I hope to do better... I am 72 and counting
My husband talked me through doing an oil change on my car after he had back surgery. So I can say I changed the oil once .
@johnny smit lol
@johnny smit 🤣
@Cindy Marker You go girl!! I'm disabled with heart failure and lung problems from untreated strep throat as a child but if I could be tinkering with tools I would be! I grew up with a dad who never hired things out. We just did it all ourselves. Probably didn't have the money. He did all the repairs on everything from autos, dozers, tractors, home additions, etc. His birthday would have been next week. He passed 14 years ago but those life lessons certainly live on in the 5 of us kids. Have a blessed day!
Cindy Marker that’s one step in the right direction!👍
Congrats!! Nice you could help the Hubby out. Johnny and Enrique are probably just to Gangsta cool to appreciate something like that. Knowing the going rate for a Dimebag doesn´t help getting your oil changed....
Daddy 🌽⭐ and his 🍅 ! It's all good! Cole 🌽⭐ and his exploits and his 🌽 family makes me happy!
I just find your videos so interesting, also your families hard working ethic is amazing. Keep the vids coming please Cole! Sending love from Jolly Old England.
I can tell when you get to it that cellar will be set up right for you.
Great video as always Cole.
Hi Cole, just discovered your vlog. You are doing a good job teaching everyone about the work and many efforts in farming. I was married to a farmer. For 27 years and it was tough. I enjoy your added humour. Keep up the great work 👍
Looks like a man has to stay alert at all times and be ready to adapt to the new situation at all times! Great video.
Sooooo cold !! Much respect for you all getting out in that!
Interesting video guys, thanks! Glad Daddy Corn Star is feeling better.
Keep up the good work Cole!
Love the intro.keep up the great videos, I love them
Love the extra ventilation holes in the bin 😳 keep up the amazing work guys!! I’m gearing up for our hay season to start here in Iowa !
You guys are my new favorite. Just drove through central iowa last week and I would of looked at all those grain bins totally different.
I ran out of driveway salt one winter and spread bird seed for traction- within hours I had 30 turkeys. So I get 'leave it for the birds' ! Great video!
Let us know if the birds eat the corn.
COLE....Watching your videos have really boosted my work ethic!!💯👍 Soo THANK YOU! for inspiring me too get "stuff" done!💪😤...(You guyz seem too lose *ALOT* of corn on ground lol)🇺🇸🤔
matthew Huey it looks worse than it really is! Thank you!
@@ColeTheCornstar i believe ya! but looks like theres diff. pile every video! 😂
You are SO good looking. ❤ I am so amazed at everything you have to know about everything for the farm. I havent been near farming but I'm so confused and impressed at everything you do every day and everything you have to know and think about. Well done. And entertaining as always.
Glad Daddy Cornstar is feeling much better and didn't get his finger cut this year working on the planter.
Perfect timing, I have just about watched all your videos. Keep up the good work man!
I’m a beekeeper and harvest honey, watching your videos make me wanna get to work haha.
I had no idea this channel existed until i started playing Farming Simulator 19 and looked up videos, now im hooked and have a string urge to want to farm for real! Good job Cole! Awesome videos
Cole your very good looking 💋. Can't wait til you get a better system for the augers, it will make your life so much easier!!!
Love the new uploads keep it up
Don’t forget to like the video!!!!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🥰🥰🥰🥰
These vids make me wish my grandfathers huge farm still existed in Salem Oregon. Keep up the good work!
wow another day you done a lot Cole I'm glad to hear your daddy is feeling better now take care and God blessed your lovely family!👍🙏
Yes Cole, you're good looking. Now stop blaming D.C. when you, yes you, made a corn mountain.
Best way to start my day!
Ur first bro good job
Charlie McCloskey just happened to be refreshing his page when it came up. 👌🏼
You're sure good looking, Cole! We farm wheat up here in Montana and it is fun to see how you guys do things on your farm. I enjoy it. Thanks!
Thanks so much for the degree conversion for those of us not in the state!
Thx for the "celsius" grtz from Belgium,,, from a real Belgian
Appreciate it here in Australia too! Although I have no real concept of how cold that actually is, we feel freezing when it hits single digit Celsius 🥶
I’ve always just divided the Fahrenheit by 3 to get an idea of the temperature in Celsius.
@@ozazure okay it's like walking into a freezer. From the UK it's cold but not that cold 😂 I live in the north west so all we would do is put on our big coats 😁
Vlaming of wallon?
Same 🇨🇦
Your a good looking guy Cole keep it up
Another great video, happy to see Daddy Cornstar feeling better. Always a giving man, doing two oil changes for his daughter and son in law. Coop is rolling cool in the 4840. Oh BTW Cole, you look so handsome! LOL God Bless you all
Daddy Cornstar would make a great dad with all of his dad jokes...wait...he IS a Dad!! Fantastic video!
i wonder if cole has ever heard of a poly auger hopper...
I heard the Poly Augers were made in Utah is that true?
Was thinking the same thing myself, at least make something out of plywood or similar
They work well, reducing shoveling, with the added benifit of doubling as a cover if you clean it out and turn it over.
@GreyGeek not blinker fluid.
Yet.
and its kinda disgusting they shovel corn from the dirt kinda considering stopping eating anything that use cornflour
I love it when a new video comes out. It’s like a visit with old friends! I had a bin full of wheat plug up on me too. Unbeknownst to me, a crust had formed on top and got sucked down and blocked the center gate. I then opened the other two gates and the same thing happened! After a lot of internal cussing and questioning the parentage of the bin designers, I decided that the only thing I could do was to cut a hole in the bin door and let it run out and suck it up with a grain vac. It worked, but oh, what a mess!
Prairie Viking I've heard of people putting tennis balls/golf balls in the auger and then turning it backwards to try to break it up. Man, that's rough!
That Freightliner looks really good with those new lights, keep up the great work Cole!
Glad Daddy Cornstar is feeling better.
May be time to invest in some bin management auger systems.
@Allegan News A M E N to that. And another bin perhaps...I noticed the sunshine peeking through several decent sized holes and the rust in the bin. One step at a time...🌽
Auger hoppers are only $140 each
Be a huge step forward for a kick off
@@LP-mz8rc would it be possible to take the bin apart the way it was build (backwards) and just replace the couple rusty sheets?
Looks like there are quite a few holes in your grain bin walls
Jarrett Fullerton there are
@@ColeTheCornstar never farmed, but can't the crop leak out through those... And wouldn't they let in moisture? I know nothing about bins.. Only done cattle and hay.
@@jarrettfullerton2580 he lives in a very dry climate during the winter. very little rain. lots of dry air, even when snowing. when I lived in the midwest I would shock everyone when I went to touch them and door knobs I could usually expect a good inch to a inch and a half spark, as I go to use it. needless to say, most of my doors stayed open...
good to see daddy cornstar feeling better
I love how Daddy cornstar gets his words mixed up. I have a little chuckle. Thanks for that Daddy cornstar.
The sunglasses turns cole into super cole
Nice vid cole!!
Welcome back Daddy Cornstar!!
Cole... good help is hard to find..you will never get fired. Too valuable!
I worry about you going into the corn bins.
Terri Troutner why's that? It's safe on the floor 😇 Thank you!
I'm claustrophobic and that auger thing looks scary! Please be careful when working in those tight places. I'm a grandma fan and I really enjoy your work ethic . What you're doing in your house to make it yours makes me very proud of you almost like you were one of my own . As for your Dad, I just love him and his Heinz and "corny" jokes. Your family members are all as wholesome and all american as corn flakes! Thanks for the postings . Can't wait to see your basement projects!
NAVE is the good looking one
Hey, kiddo- I've been a wife/mom/homemaker for like 30 years. Just do like I do-anytime the dh gets his knickers in a knot w me, I tell him to fire me!!!😃😃😃
I am happy for dad John Let there be Light...
I am cold in East Texas with the temp in the 40's!! Y'all can keep those frigid temps up there!!!
I think you're down on 1/2" combination wrenches and teflon tape.
And motor oil/filters 🤣
don't forget the 10 mm, the 1/2 and 9/16 can't have too many of these. they always find a way to hide or walk off...
Always own your mistakes! Thats what separates the men from the boys.
I love your show I really do, you guys are refreshing and motivating.
Happy trails
Luke
I'm addicted watching . Lol great family
Looks like Mama CS finally took the weed wacker to your head.
K C yes! Way overdue!
If you ever get “fired” for real, come and work for me! I grow durum wheat, field peas, and chickpeas in Northeast Montana. Neither of my two sons want to farm. I’d love to have someone as energetic and enthusiastic as you eventually take over my place. The housing situation wouldn't be as grand though! 😉😁🤣
Where can i apply lol 😁
Yeah, I wouldn't mind, I have lots of truck driving experience.
I'm "mature" and female.... can drill, plant, combine, mow, ted, rake and bale... round and square, can round up, sort, load ,pitch silage, grind corn, pull calves and push prolapse ... and I dig Weiner dawgs .... can also grow a mean beefsteak .... am I qualified enough?
If this offer is still available in 4 years I would happily come work I’m looking to work in America or Australia on a bigger farm anyways
Jumper_708 Definitely hit me up! Local help is hard to find. How old are you now and where are you from? I’ve had young men from Argentina, Brazil and Switzerland work for me on J-1 Intern visas. I have a guy from South Africa now on an H2-A guest worker visa. All these guys have been great workers and good friends!
Farmer from Australia here love seing different styles of farming (thanks for the discount on another pair of sunnies)
Awesome job Cornstar Family 👌🏻
