You should consider installing wheel studs instead of using lug bolts, much safer, stronger and better engagement with the wheel through lug nuts. Also, it is not true that the hub takes some of the weight off the lug bolts/wheel studs lug nut combination. Wheels are lug centric and they carry all the weight of the wheels at all the time. Those wheels do look much better than the factory OE wheels, great job!
This was so helpful! I currently have the same wheels but on a Cooper S, so no big brakes. I plan to upgrade to the JCW brakes and wondered what size spacers I needed to fit them. Thanks!
Glad it helped!! I loved these wheels on my S and was bummed when they wouldn’t fit my JCW, but I have 5000 miles on the spacers with zero issues and couldn’t be happier.
The superturismo are cool, I really like the neuspeed wheels that are also designed to not use the spacers. I would have done something different here but I ended up with these wheels and tires after my old mini was totalled
mathematically it has to increase the scrub radius to do a wider tire and spacing behind the wheels. I honestly didn't notice a difference, but im not a racer driver on a track.
i wasnt really looking to sell them, they have questionable tires and some wear. What were you thinking? Shipping would probably be pricey. email me jeff at improved-garage.com

@@improvedgarage thanks alot , its hard to get 17” rims here that fits the calipers here in malaysia and even if they do, the offset is too wide. I went mine with 18” pretoria wheels with 225/40/18 tires replacing the factory 17” trackspoke.
BTW never buy spacers that have studs which are graded less than 12.9 tensile strength.

Ive looked into studs + nuts several times for this and my other mini, at some point ill do them. I appreciate you sharing your expertise.

Oz superturismo lm 18 inch Et45 is the best option for my opinion no spacers needed for both S and JCW models

Hi. Does LM 17x7.5 ET50 fit JCW?
@@luoqinran Hi. Yes they fit, for the Offset go between 42, 48 ET for more aggressive look
So how about the scrub radius? I'm guessing the handling is affected somehow?

Where did the wheel hanger come from? I have been looking for one.
burger tuning. I got one for free when i bought my spacers from them, they also sell them on their site for $10
You ever do anything to refurbish the plastic fender trim? Mine looks similar like lines where it's faded. Thinking about trying Cerakote.
i have using solution finish, ill do a video on it.
You can use a blow torch to heat that area.....that get rid of that......YOUR WELCOME 😊😊
how much you want for the JCW rims?

@@v1510nman I had to do the 15mm spacers to get the clearance and certain wheel weights would also rub on the front wheels.
@@v1510nman are you using run flat or non run flat tyre? I just got my mini and feel a bit hard for the tyre/suspension
