I have no sympathy for the Arizona organization. The writing was on the wall for Kyler, and instead of holding him accountable, they continued to reward, treat, and pay Kyler as if he was elite, when he never played even close to that level.
Agree. Money can either make or break a player. But in KMs case, I felt he was WAY too quick to hold out for a big contract based on erratic, unpredictable performance.
Same time, I wish Pat Pete would get the f**k over himself and GO BE A VIKING. He’s been beating the dead horse for far too long. Move on, Pat. You look like a boob.
If he would have been a young white quarterback they would have ran him out of town he is a product of the blm woke movement
I wouldn’t say NEVER. What’s with the hyperbolic statements people like to make for emphasis? It doesn’t make the statements more believable.
Kyler has shown flashes of absolute brilliance, but he has no leadership ability.
@@DeCurtaRican - lots of QB's have had "flashes" of brilliance... from Dak to RGIII to Murray. For all Murray's talent, his record as a starter is 25-30-1. Now that's not all his fault, but he's getting PAID to be "that guy"... and he's falling incredibly SHORT ( 😆 ) at being "that guy". Total BUST.
To say a guy who was in MVP talks last year up until he got injured doesn’t play at an elite level is blasphemy lmao.
I wouldn’t be happy with Kingsbury either. Dude runs swings and screens when he has 3 4.3 receivers on the team. Not even counting Deandre. Vertical offense throw the ball up the field.
“KyLeR cAnT tHrOw OvEr ThE mIdDlE” guys refer to the absolute strike to Hopkins in the chargers game that was you guessed it, right in the middle of the hashes for 6 lmao.
Yall Kyler haters can’t stand that his coach is running a college level offense that has been figured since the wildcard game last season when they got slammed by the rams. He ain’t gonna recover and that’s not Kylers fault. He’s butting heads because instead of adapting to his players. Kliff wants players to adapt to him. Gotta play your teams strengths and for the cardinals that is vertical football with heavy play action and when Conner is clicking give him the rock.
Kyler had some success while playing with some really bad habits. He'll never get rid of those bad habits, so he has already reached his ceiling.
Similar to how Johnny Manziel fizzled out after a short run of success in the NFL , because both could never break the bad habits they learned being a star college QB, in both cases they had great wide receivers that were on another level than most of the college teams they played and when ever either QB was flustered by a pass rush would throw the ball into double or triple coverage and their receivers would out jump or out run the defenders and bail the QB poor decision out or the QB would take off running before checking all their pass progressions knowing their speed was better than most of the defenders on the field and could scramble for big yardage, but when they got in the pros all the opponents players have the speed to run them down or cover the receivers, later it was found out Johnny Manziel for example never bothered to even study the Texas A&M playbook he just survived on his pure athleticism, So when he got to the Cleveland Browns his poor study habits caught up with him, That's why Kyler Murray gets frustrated easily because the things that came so easily to do at the college level are much harder to do at the pro level on a consistent basis
...which is about 3 feet tall...
He was the same way in high school and at A&M. He and the Cardinals deserve each other.
What are you talking about Tyler was a winner at every level. It's bad coaching in the NFL for the Arizona Cardinals
He was recruited to A&M along with Kyle Allen and transferred to Oklahoma because he didn't want to compete for the job.
@@powerwagon1897 To be fair, he did win a Heisman but yeah, he is an entitled little shit.
Oh shit Jim Rome is still alive ??? WTF ??? Did I just travel back in time ? Is it 2003 , what’s happening right now
Was thinking this EXACT same thing
Ok Chris
Romey doing his repeat it 10 times thing; just like back in the day, and then circle back around again 🤪
Yea!??.., I want to see the days when he called Jim Everett "Chrissy" Everett and got slapped in the face,😂😂 that was some good TV,,lol,,, in a way Jim has some balls but I don't blame Everett for slapping him either.lol
Rack him…
The team knew what they had in Murray, especially after the playoff loss to the Rams. He looked like crap and demanded and received a new contract. Having the studying clause in his new contract is a perfect example why the team shouldn't have given him a new contract.
@lastpme - BINGO. That alone would have been enough for me as an owner NOT to give this ignorant guy a contract - especially at that price. Plus, he can't even see over his OL so the defense just has to concentrate along the sidelines. 😂😂
Because......
One bad year and ppl on his ass like he don't have a bum at HC that couldn't win with Mahomes in college and a GM whom the fans wanted to get rid of ages ago shit is ridiculous Kyler is the best thing that has happened to this franchise since 2015
@@richieg1306 - 🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂
They were stacked at the time and could’ve gone farther or as far with Colt McCoy
After seeing how disastrous the Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray contracts have gone I can’t wait to see Watson fall on his face for the Browns.
Watson is actually very talented
CAN'T WAIT!
@@wayneblack4085 and insanely stupid. good luck with that combo.
Not gonna happen
He is talented but he hasn't played for 2 years. Let's see what happens.
Kyle needs a coach and not a friend, this is Bidwells fault, pay Payton and dump kiem too.
I agree. Bidwell is not a good owner.
Kyler Murray is from the same school as "former" Jets QB Zach Wilson, "Not my fault" Thanks, Jim.
Or Silkk The Shocker "It ain't my fault".
Dude is K Cutler
Kyler is not going to change. Maybe if he got benched he could mature.
You know good and well if Kyler was benched he was pout and shut down. He would not take it well.
I remember the coach being touted as one of the best young coaches coming into the league and a big supporter of Tyler in his first couple of years. Usually a disconnect happens over something personal/slight that not many people know about between them.
As a Cardinals fan, Kyler’s antics are getting old. He’s a significantly less mature Russel Wilson. Now that we signed him our only hope is Kyler growing up rapidly combined with a new head coach and GM. I’m not sure we will get 1 of those 3. Much less all 3.
Kyler Murray has 230 million reasons to give No F*cks!!!
It’s how stupid the Cards r for giving him the contract and he got his way when they took out the study clause. Stuck till 2028.
@@r.p.9021 Well he has plenty of time to study now that he's injured....
It makes you wonder why Fitzgerald left. He never said he retired. With all the shit QB’s he had and this is the one that makes him leave.
If Kyler wants to win, he's going to need good people around him. Kingsbury will be cut loose after the season, but which top tier coach wants to sign up for 'next'? Also, do top tier free agents want to join the Kyler team like they do the Mahomes team? No. Players and coaches with choices (options) are going to stay away from that show. Even as a player, Kyler is good, not great; above average, but not great.
I think he has the potential to BE great, but he’d have to subordinate his ego and actually listen when he trains. Plus, it would help to have a QB coach that knows how to coach. I think Kurt Warner could do it. But, again, KM would have to be willing to learn. I’m not sure he is.
I say Kyler picked the wrong sport.
good points
@ Rick Black.
I hear what you are saying. But a new head coach most of the time will want there guy so it maybe be safe to say that both head coach and QB would have to go.
A real OL would make MURRY a star
Til then he's running for his life the minute he gets the snap
Just another Lincoln Riley product. Murray, Mayfield, and currently Caleb Williams can all do some pretty nifty things on the field. But, none of them can actually play the position of quarterback. You know, read a defense, set the offense, snap the ball, deliver on time all while keeping a level head and being a leader by example.
how is jim rome still going dude respect
Kyler Murray is your quintessential Gen Zr.
Rome knows better. Kyler was talking about the Chargers covering all 3 options on that play. Covered the TE off the pick play, and the DL shut down the 2 run options.
Been trying to figure out wtf is up with the Cardinals...saw them all arguing on the sidelines a few weeks ago and was like, "ooooh"...really thinking there's some stuff going on behind the scenes. This kinda solidifies it.
Not one nfl player is worth the money that they get paid, except for those making the minimum. $even one million dollars to play one game a week is absurd and unsustainable.
Why don't they show all this drama on their Hard Knocks series this season?
I just watched this week episode too see if they put it in there and they didn't.
Boring
Because our scary owner doesn't want it in there
You think it's a documentary, it's an NFL infomercial
Because at the end of the day it's still TV show and a lot of deals are made. They don't want their dirty laundry aired
So happy he blew out his ACL. Now he can calm the F down playing video games and raking in MILLIONS to do it
I had no idea Jim Rome was still yabbering! Last time I saw him he was yapping about his boy Johnny Manziel. Great take on that one!He needs to fight Chris Everett again, build up his profile.
This man needs a Just For Men sponsorship asap
Scheme? Isn't there something that NFL Q.B.s have to go through on every pass play called "progressions"?
I'm a Cardinals fan and I knew the organization made the wrong 1st overall pick in the draft when Murray came walking out wearing a pink freaking suit. I knew right then this guy was a prima donna and he wasn't going to be a team player and everything was going to be about HIM!
"No one is saying he's not talented."????? Um, everyone is.
Kyler can run a bit, dance around the pocket and make some plays, but he's injury prone, throws critical picks, and is clearly not a team player. Trade this jacka$$ and move on
Can't trade him. No one wants him n der stuck wit him.
Kyler just doesn’t have it in him to LEAD. He picked the wrong sport…should have chosen baseball. Baseball is really an individual sport. It doesn’t require “chemistry” or “leadership” by anything but example. It requires guys to do their individual jobs, irrespective of what other players are doing. The baseball door is still open to him, and I can see him retiring from the NFL in a few years and going to MLB.
"Enthusiams"
Cardinals should encourage Kyler to please take up baseball ⚾️ in off-season possibly good or bad "things could happen " then proceed to get his girl haired dope smoking buddies Hopkins , and all the other over payed , Steve Keim nondrafted free agent blowhards along with Steve Keim show em the door .Wake up Bidwell your running this thing like its a family legacy ,always
That's if he can even make it. He would need a couple of seasons in the minors.
Half a Billion tied up between Murry and Wilson.......wow....think about that....half a billion.....100 million x FIVE! You can buy half the Marlins for their contracts. How many total wins so far? 6 or 7?
Man, remember a few years ago when everyone got up in Charlie Casserly's grill because he reported that he had heard some negative things about him?
Should've never given him that contract.
Cards should have fired Steve Keim 2 years ago. GM is their problem, or their biggest problem.
It's a pattern. It's been this way since his stint at A&M. Been that way all along and people are acting surprised.
If you have to tell your starting QB to study film, that should have been a gigantic clue. Kyler "The Hobbit" Murray is not starting NFL QB material - a third stringer, at best. Murray isn't a "one of a kind athlete", there are several in the NFL like him.
He's a diva, and things wont end well for us, the az fans that is, They gave him a contract and now they're stuck with him.
Kyler fleeced the league and the cards. He got paid and doesn’t care about winning.
Just like a ton of other players in the league.
Well said Rome... Maturity, professionalism, and accountability!
When people show you who they are believe them
That’s a game I want to watch four times… check that, I’ll watch that game 5 times.- Jim Rome, South Park.
This popped in my feed and I was legit like......Jim Rome is still around?!?!?!
Lmfao Rome has me dying 😆 🤣 😂 Murry isn't even a real qb it's funny when these guys don't pan out and then ppl are surprised, all he's good at is running around and that's not a real qb.
I am on my last shred of hope for KM growing into a professional. Damn, I had high hopes.
he's done now...blowing out his ACL without being touched
They hired an unproven College Head Coach. They were outmaneuvered by Murray on his contract. What other team would take up that contract? Especially after seeing how Russell Wilson flamed out in Denver. Just because they missed on Josh Rosen doesn’t mean ya have to sell the farm on Murray. Bad GM. Bad decisions.
Next game for the Cardinals that comes down to perhaps last drive or possession in which they end up losing that game, I would pay next to every dime I can scrounge up to have Kingsbury at the podium respond to the media with this phrase "ya know guys that final drive we were doing everything possible to get our top playmakers the ball and be in a position to pull the game out in the end unfortunately we were EFFED @ QB and we all know its the crucial piece of the puzzle and until we find that sorta leader that all the good teams have which means those teams are always a legitimate threat to win a championship. We're just not there with our roster of players and so we're EFFED at truly competing for a Lombardi trophy until we have that guy in house"
We were elevationally EFFED
Stop paying these guys before they have accomplished anything. This next man up money shit is going to eventually make football unwatchable. You are going to have middle of the road QBs with 200 and 300 million dollar contracts.
True .
The the 1/4 billion QB gets injured and a 5 mill QB steps in. Game unwatchable. Unless you are the Cowboys.
K. Murray is a one hit wonder-his jukes and run game. Linebackers shut him down and he’s done. The sooner the tiny scrambler is cut, the better.
You know MURRY has a fantastic arm also
Don't act like he can't throw.
He's a MUCH BETTER passer than
Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Jimmy G, Geno Smith, Daniel Jones, Kirk Cousins, Mack Jones, Justin Fields, Dak Prescott, Taylor Hienike, Markus Marriotta, Baker Mayfield
Now a one trick pony would be Tasom Hill
@@JarodJoseph ALL SPECIAL TEAMERS PLAY MULTIPLE POSITIONS
@@JarodJoseph You sound just like the old Baker Mayfield fanboys...out of touch with reality. Telling us we don't see what we are all looking at with our eyes. No DB fears Hill when he plays WR. No defense fears Hill when he throws (because he can't throw) and no DL fears Hill when he runs. I see him get his bell rung ALOT by those 300 pounders and they take him out and you don't see him again. OK you give me his best year recieving throwing and running
I can't believe I'm arguing about sorry ass Taysome Hill...if you like him you keep him
@@ronnierobinson5421 they play qb, hb, and te?
@ronnie robinson hes not much better than Lamar in anything
Patrick Peterson was 💯about him. Kyler only cares about Kyler……..and Call of Duty lol
This guy Rome still exists I haven't seen in since 2000
He’s still good.
Took him off few years back in my area for poor ratings, he's meh
The NFL is turning into the NBA.
Unfortunately
I'm sorry...how come Patrick didn't say ONE word last year when Kyler dropped 400 yards and 3 TDs on the Vikings?🙄🙄🙄
Partially because Murray hadn't gotten his big payday yet. Murray got a contract worth twice what Patrick will make in his entire career and it bothers him. He's bitter
Lol are you room temp IQ? That's completely irrelevant. Murray is a child who can't learn.
He wasn’t asked. That’s why
@@markula_4040 That's part of it. They pocket watching these quarterbacks.
That was last year
Don’t know why the cards resigned him, big mistake
Baker was bad and kyler backed him up. I can only surmise that worse backs up bad.
Kyle needs an attitude adjustment and to not be pampered like he has his whole career. The issue is definitely the coach who isn't old school and is more conversational than anything. Had they not signed Kyle to such a big deal the coach would have the leverage to either bench him or make him second string.
Let's see how other QB would do when playing with 4 of your 5 starters out on the offensive line. Not to mention the #1 receiver in the NFL out for 6 games.Does Kyler need to mature, yes. But you have to admit he is fun to watch.
Imagine how much Arizona is going to suck when Kyler Murray is 50 million contract kicks in
If he gets benched, that would keep his hair nice and pretty, that seems to be very important in the NFL these days🤔
So this video pooped up on my feed. I had no idea Jim Rome was still going. I remember listening to him on my local espn radio station when I was a kid.
You nailed it. Ive never understood how Kingsbury got that job,but Murray is a talented guy-but terrible teammate,& leader...at a position you cant be all that. He really shouldve stuck to baseball, where selfishness doesnt kill the team-like in football.
You don't need confirmation from a podcast, everyone can see how ppl like Murray or Russell Wilson behave. Their egos and antics hurt their team.
Remember when it was racist mandating him to watch film? They should have tripled it.
No, I don't remember when it was racist, but then again I'm not a white supremacist like you.
As an AZ sports fan I look at Kyler Murray and Deandre Ayton the same way. Too young and freaky talented to give up on with no desire to be great.
The only difference is Ayton is considered proper size for the sport and position he can play.
Ayton is starting to turn the page so well see although I definitely felt the same a month ago
Yeah except Kyler is playing the most important position in sports he's supposed to be the leader and face of the franchise. No one expects DA to be the leader or be better than Dbook
Don't even put DA in the same category as kyler . DA was a major part of our championship run in 2020. DA does everything the organization has asked him to do. He deserves his paycheck, I could never say the same Kyler Murray
All football teams from high school to pros can tract how much film is being viewed and by who. Arizona is paying the price for not knowing the difference between potential and professional.
Jim Rome is still alive!?
My K1 comp before the season was Jay Cutler. This season proves it.
Been watching CARDS SINCE 89.SEEN GOOD BAD AND UGLY. THE LAST 4 YEAR'S HAVE MADE ME SICK TO WATCH! !!. AL, THAT MONEY FOR WHAT? ? GET RID OFF ALL OF THEM!!!
Kyler's like a high school kid
Funny how they change AFTER they get their coins.
TOO LATE NOW ARIZONA
Murray can’t play. He’s small and probably has 2-3 years left on the athleticism blind people think he has. I don’t see it and never have. Just because he sometimes looks amazing means nothing. You have to be consistent in the nfl and he isn’t. I don’t watch a lot of cardinal games but the other day I got to watch about 5 minutes and I swear I thought Kyler was a small running back. When I saw this small man get behind the center I was blown. In the nfl you know who has it and who doesn’t immediately and Kyler doesn’t have it.
Composure, dignity, and accountability are nonexistent nowadays. They've been replaced by oblivousness, lack of filters, and diarrhea of the mouth. It's surreal, like we're living in the movie "Idiocracy."
Through Kingsbury, off a "Kliff!" 😂
In 1970, our coaches would demand a crew cut for all
I wonder how many #1 overall draft pick qb's have a sense of entitlement and ego cause he was the first pick in the draft?
Why Kyler's attitude should surprise anybody? That is the Generation Z's mentality. They think everything is all about them and they take no accountability for anything they do. That is why NFL teams are hiring younger coaches so they could relate better to these younger players.
I forget, how many playoff games has the 230 million man won?
7
That little fella is never guna do anything in the playoffs
Holy shit, I didn't think Rome was still yapping away lol... I haven't seen a clip of him in like a decade.
As. Cards Fan I'm sick and tired of the incompetent Ownership, Front office and ALL coach's except Vance. How is Kyler EVEN making more than Josh Allen just Kills me, he needs to study film HE Doesn't, and can't see over the line. Has gotten OUT of his own end zone maybe 2 Times in 4 years bro. NOT NFL QB Material at all. Doesn't have the fiber. How many FULL seasons does Kyler have? Dude gets injured for 3 games or more if you look at him too hard. C'mon Man.
Uh yeah Jim, people have been questioning Kyler’s ability. He’s 5’4 and can’t throw from the pocket. Fitz done called this guy out waaaay before PatPete💯Kyler is a wild card QB at best. He’ll never be a Super Bowl QB. Cardinals should’ve gone after Rodgers last year but too late they’ve given the franchise to baby Russ
The Cardinals started allowing this whole diva stuff long ago ,woman haired wide out ,non blocking ,only practiced on occasional days ,radically overpayed ,yup Fitzgerald .
@@jodybrown4956 right HOF receiver that no one ever had a bad thing to say about him. Enjoy your call of duty midget🤣
With the Talent this team has there should not be a reason there 4-8. I look at this all As Kyler and Kliff Kingsbury's fault period.
This is why you don’t draft a dude who says he loved baseball. Imagine the schemes and plays and engagement the nfl takes to playing baseball
Rome with the Steven A hairline😂😂😂
too bad he didn't play for Parcells.
4 lucky hail Mary passes gave Murray 4 wins.
All these bums never deserved that money none of these new crop of (mobile QBs ) can't read defense or make adjustments not deservingly of Gen wealth
Well, he's an easy target, the guy we love to hate ... and he deserves it! The all-caps memo did it for me. "Kyler Murray don't care about nooooo-body but Kyler Murray." And they paid him. Glad I don't live in AZ cause I'd be rationalizing things so Kyler comes out a victim. Ha!
His dad was the same way. K1 got it honest. No cap
I remember his dad at Texas A&M when he refused to work out for NFL scouts saying that there was plenty of film to evaluate. He didn't get drafted. Idiot.
@@ericglenn979 Yup, My dad told me it was Bill Walsh he said that to. So you know exactly what i'm talking about.
Overpaid and not a leader!!!!!
Thank you Jim Rome love the analogy. yeah that fits Murray to a T he's all about himself I wonder does he hug himself.
woah, 40 sec in and there hasn't been 20 sec of dead air. seems like rome is actually forced to speak rather than spend half of his podcast in silence.
But but ESPN said these guys were the future of the league....🙄
Look at Murray’s first or second year. He got the whole o line chains
Arizona screw up huge. You justed let future players not play out their rookie contract and extend whenever they want. Glad they're stuck with this dude
Let’s be honest he was a overrated Qb that everyone pressured he deserved all that money just because…… It’s sad society pressured them into that
He’s a all about him player
He always looks for someone to blame after he messes up
It’s always cracks me up when Rome or white people read direct quotes from black people using the grammar they use. It really shows you how IQ comes into play.
KM and Lamar are one in the same and paying through the nose for QBs who’s best quality is running is a mistake. Olympic sprinters peak by age 26-27. You’ll never get 18-20 years (like TB12) out of these guys. No running QB has EVER won the SB. Stop drafting RB to play QB.
They are not the same at all wtf
Russell Wilson won a super bowl. Almost 2
Colin Cowterd come get yo cousin.😂😂😂
Id take Wilson over kyler
NFL just needs a Transfer Portal
