I just adore Morrissey! We usually influence our children....my son, did me....he played one song from The Smiths and I was hooked...he knew if it wasn’t the music....that the vegan in me would probably connect....I also had a hard life with depression....many of us do.....I just love his attitude, his humour, him! Watched him for the first time at Massey Hall and now have bought tickets to see him in Winnipeg....my country and in the 2nd row! Looking forward to being in awe so much closer than last time! ❤️

Dealt with it myself for 50 years and no cure as such but it does become more bearable doing what gives you joy and coping mechanisms X music and nature for me X oh and books and writing poetry, writing feelings down or anything creative if you can't find a good therapist as that can help to talk it out X just wish people took any mental health more seriously 🐮💚🌈

Oh my gosh…”Memory glands?” Clueless Larry King and clueless graphics writer; it was "mammary glands" and a lyric from the Smiths’ “Handsome Devil.” What a disrespectful thing for that social media person to ask Morrissey after all these years. I agree with him about unfortunate decline of record shops.

I hadn't seen this interview before, but I found interesting to see Morrisey answers questions from social media, which he's not that close. Furthermore, I'm not a fan of him, however some of his songs get me every time.

Incredible part of a great time to be young.. Oh the college years of loving The Cure, The Smiths, The Replacements, Bauhaus, etc... What a great time and era. And I happen to agree with Morrisey 100%, modern music is NOT interesting

I agree with Morrissey why can't he have views and still be a good person even if they differ. However Im a what you would call liberal but have many views that sound like im in the middle. Also get the depression issue that means he is deeply impacted by whats up in the world. Lots going on that some can't block out n live in denial. I think he is one of them.

3:35 Interesting, Marr on the other hand can't stand some of the songs. Like This Charming Man. When I was at a gig of his, he basically refused to play it even though the crowd was cheering for it. He even started playing it for 5 seconds and stopped, just to tease us! I also know he hated a particular song they did towards the end, a B-Side for Girlfriend in a Coma, I believe it was called Work is a 4 Letter Word (not their best work, I admit)
