There are idiots who spend their time trolling RUclips and write these types of critiques for the fun of it, sick as that seems. They usually hide behind a profile with no photo. They do not have the grace to simply say thank you for taking the time to make and post your video. Best to ignore them, they love a debate.

I just meant, at this point in life, I'm less likely to travel. (In my younger years, I was always on the move.) These days, I'm tired all the time, and everything hurts. I took a lot of injuries in my youth, and that takes a toll as you get older.

Excellent film Andy, thank you. My family are from the Islands but the family seat, Dunvegan Castle, is on Skye. I know the islands well as we went there on holiday almost every summer in the late 60's early 70's. It is a heavenly playground for children with the very long summer days and endless places to explore. We sent a lot of time on Scalpay were almost all the inhabitants were MacLeod's; talk about feeling at home! Yes surprised to see a trawler out on the Sabbath; that would not have happened back in the day! Thanks again.

. My grandmother came from the village of Crieff on the mainland, but sadly it didn't help me understand a word you said mate. I've subscribed to your channel, in the hope that things will improve. Could you or whoever knows what to do, please include the captions, so that that those of us who speak English, can follow along. I visited Isle of Lewis, back in 2018, before the Covid situation happened. Loved it. Found a cheapish croft to buy. First job was to spray insecticide, to get rid of any ticks that existed. Not sure if that was legal or not. Needed to sort the little bug...beggars out. Fast. It was either me or them. I came first. Yes I checked to make sure that there weren't any beekeepers within 4-5 km away. Some of the genuine Islanders I can understand. Anyway thanks for sharing. Atb
