Is this not a 1.2 turbo with 116 hp? The 1.6 did not have 6 speed gear and it does not work that well with these low rpm's you are driving around with here.. But hey, you are driving around with +80 km/h in a 40 km/h-zone.. That would cost you 6 month in prison and 6 month salary in fine + your driving license for 10 years. :D
Each Auris 1.6 valvematic have 6 speed gear. 1.6 Valvematic is naturally aspirated engine. You can drive 50kmh on 6 gear and u have 2k rpm. It is minimum for accelerating.

This 1.6 petrol engine is NOT turbo!! Please correct that mistake. 1.2 liter Toyota engine is with turbo, not this one.
