Score and rebound, CC already done that even as a point guard, score and assists, but, did Reese had a Triple Double?😂 No comparison guys, ROTY is for a rookie who made an impact in their team, and definitely it's CC.

It is hard to imagine Caitlin's stats if she stops improving on averages the of 17pts, 8reb & 9.75ast achieved the past 8 games. That's 16.5pts, 6.8reb & 8.45ast. Wow!

Excellent points on running off of a made goal by NY. Looks like Caitlin is taking over and the team is on board. They are young, can run, and yes, if they deploy the fast, transitional strategy, they can cook most of their remaining opponents.
Hopefully….hopefully…Christie Sides will be smart and work with the this strategy and use the slow, half-court, feed the paint strategy as a back up. Sides needs to hammer the ladies on layups and making free throws.

In the entire history of the WNBA, only 35 triple doubles have been recorded, by only 17 different individuals, and never before by a rookie. Caitlin Clark owns one of those, the only rookie to have ever done so, in a win, against the best team in the league.

Can she keep up the pace of the last 8 games (16-7.5-6)? Yes, because check out the last 3 games (15.7-12-9). Nearly averaging a triple double! As you say, they're figuring it out, moving down the learning curve, etc. I believe we'll see more triple doubles this season, because they're seeing what happens when Caitlin gets rebounds. Not only are they running (Christie Sides has been watching your videos), which is likely fun in and of itself, but they're also the recipients of inevitable assists from Caitlin on the other end.

I can hardly wait to see Clark's numbers after her "transition" to the play and players in the WNBA and with each new game Clark's list keeps getting longer.
1)Currently, there are just four triple-doubles in its 28th season, Caitlin Clark makes WNBA history with the first-ever rookie triple-double
2)Clark became the fastest WNBA rookie to record 100 assists since Sue Bird in 2002.
3)Caitlin Clark is the fastest player in WNBA history to record 100 points and 50 assists
3)Catlin Clark became the fastest player in league history to reach 250 points and 100 assists.3)Caitlin Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to record 350 points and 150 assists
    4) Caitlin Clark leads the League with total pts scored by the player and from their assists Joni,
    5) Caitlin Clark now leads the WNBA in three-pointers made, posting 54 threes on the season,
    6) Clark leads all first-year players with an avg of 16.3 points and 6.6 assists.
    7) Clark is the only player in the rookie class to be in the Top 5 in major statistical categories, such as points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.

And she has what I love the most court vision and she can get the ball there. She has magic Johnson vision. Her passing is not as spectacular as Magic’s but she’s learning the games pace and that will cut down on her turnovers. CC will get a lot of rebounds because they want to get back on defense before they can start running. She'll love that and with that she'll be able to get more step back 3's. The defense is going to have to pick their poison.

There is no question who the rookie of the year is.

@@minnesotamerry8672 those double doubles are Westbrook calibre fake because she chucks up airballs from the POST to get cheap rebounds that have been uncontested all year long. Reese is a fraud who was a passenger on an LSU superteam when she got her participation 'ring'.

Definitely it’s CC, and AB that are in sync. Now if the Fever gets rid of Wrong Sides who is the worst coach in the W. Did everyone forget the loss to the Sky ? Don’t tell me “ Well that was only one game “ . Sorry but ONE game can make the difference of getting a team in the playoffs ! To have CC inbounding the ball was the dumbest thing Ive sever seen. CC, and AB should have been receiving inbound. Remember this in respect to turnovers attributed to CC. That’s crap ! Her mates blew so many incoming passes that landed in their hands. CC passes are at warp speed. Why they call them turnovers against CC is beyond me. AB is CC,s game winner . “SIDES” should be put on the adios express asap. That L against the Sky never should have happened. Remember the Fever lost by ONE POINT ! That could be the biggest one point loss of the season.

Wanted to mention the midi fadeaway. She used it a good bit in H.S. and early in College, but gradually went away from it the last two years I believe because (Occam’s Razor 😎), she just didn’t need it. She would light it up from the parking lot, and in 🙃, get all the way to the rim, or drop dimes from anywhere, and everywhere as we all know.
I remember she hit one very early on, I think it was against the Sun preseason, not 100%, anyway she has only hit a couple more, but I also remember her saying early on that she would work on a floater in the offseason. I say Olympic break, unless she doesn’t get one. 😉🙃😎 JP

She's shown more variety in her offensive game as the season has gone along. It's not all necessarily completely new to her but it is to using it in the WNBA. I can't remember the game but I do remember seeing her hit a floater down the lane!
