I've had my xdm 9mm for 15yrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am deadly accurate with it and I have never, not once, had an issue with it. Freaking love Springfield!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two things I did with mine-I removed the magwell that was in my way for a good grip and put on a Talon Grip.

Yeah the magwell has to be removed if you want a coffee grip. Springfield should have put a compact grip on this thing.
Wow, someone who thinks like me, lol. I did get a 15-round magazine yes it sticks out but I know if I have to put someone down I can do it.
This is my favorite pistol. And i did get it in 10mm and 9mm. I also took the magwell off. I like how the magwell looks but did not like how it functioned. Its much more comfortable now. In my opinion the 10mm is the best "out of the box" 10mm out there. Thanks for the review.

In my opinion the xdm is the best polymer 10mill you can buy, and the xdm 9mill and 45 , theses are rugged tough guns that are very very accurate

You should have got it last August 2023. The "gear-up" package comes with a decent range bag plus 5/ 12 round mags for what you paid for that. I bought the .45acp version in August 2022 also in the "gear-up" promotion.

Mine came with the optic mounted and sited.
I've thought about waiting for a 10mm echelon but the 9mm version gets super hot after a couple hundred rounds. I have a feeling that a 10mm echelon would have issues so I might buy this instead.
I have the Glock 29 and an Eagle XL 1911 in 10mm. My next 10mm will probably be this gun. Not sure if I want it in black or FDE. I also am thinking of another 1911, maybe the Tisas D10.

Hmm, I just got their Gear Up non optic version and did not come with a target or optic plates. I don't think they normally come with the plates but guessing probably different for the optic version. The mag well design was just plain stupid! Basically no normal adult can use it with the mag well installed! Should have made the grip at least 1/4" longer.

No and you are probably right but I just felt like complaining about it anyway.
I think it took me less tha m minute to mount my Holosun sight on my XDM 3.8 10mm. Not sure what you're crying about here.
Same here but I like gun manufacturers that put time and effort into their pieces not just toss the red dot in the box. Have some pride but I guess we live in a weak sissified country now.

Yep. Maybe they should start leaving the iron sights off I have the ability to put those on but I don't want to.
