It was recorded to vhs tape by me, using a coaxial in from antenna. Then years later, sent to a standalone DVD recorder. No camera was aimed at a tv to obtain this video. The tape was old and had been recorded over numerous times, adding to the picture quality issues.
I worked with Jay, he brought my mom and I as VIP's on his Headline show, his wife is fantastic. And Carson (who I worked with) loved him. James Leno is a natural Icon. NBC will NEVER see another Carson or Leno.
Looks like the comedy scene in Us are promoting sacrastic people instead of funny so I cant see a another Leno surfacing soon -and if the people at NBC cant see this then its thier fault.

What made Jay funny is he made fun of ANYONE with an issue. Everyone was fair game, that's how it should be. Like I said, I used to hate Trump, after I saw he wasn't the bad guy, I saw how funny he was trolling actually evil people. I started to read that he signed in 2020 and I agreed with it. I NEVER thought that would be the case. I am happy I humbled, he is not perfect, but he is a good guy willing to protect and fight for other good people no matter the personal cost. That's rare in government, someone who is real and pretty selfless, nothing like the media edits.
It looks more like the cassette had been previously recorded over. The static I'm seeing looks too "polished" for interference, which would be grittier and finer. Also the occasional tracking issue would fit with that reason. I collect VHS tapes. Sorry, I'm way to in to this lol.
I love Jay Leno saying that the Sabbath Dog made him laugh considering the number of times he hated people dressing up pets. Like "Your dog is not going to wear that!".

YOU KNOW THIS WAS NOT RECORDED BYLINE INPUT because of all the little white lines jumping across the screen this was recorded by placing a camera in front an old fashion standard definition tv and does not have cable he 's using a broadcast antenna because cable tv would have better reception than this the maker thinks he is a pro video production expert because all he did was to make sure you can't see the edge of his tv screen on the recording right a real pro
You know what? If somebody has a raggedy-ass, scratched up ol' videotape that the cat chewed but will still play a program I want to see, and that person takes the time to learn how and uploads it'? I say Thank You! Keep the attitude to yourself until you learn how to be civilized.
