My son can't even get physical therapy for a C6 complete injury. He
suffers too much nerve pain to get out of bed and sit in his wheelchair
long enough to go to outpatient therapy. We've been trying for 10 months
to find an in-home therapist in our area and there is no one that
accepts his insurance (Mercycare long term care). Our healthcare system
in the USA is seriously broken! I find myself wishing that a child of a
powerful politician gets paralyzed from the chest down. Maybe then
things will change for all social levels of quadriplegia. Our elected
representatives should be forced to use the same healthcare system the
rest of the country is forced to use. Then, only then, will those less
fortunate disabled get some help to be able to walk again.
alfa mirind how can you help
What state do you live in?
F. Cain Virginia sorry for the late reply
Please research Dr Joe Dispenza and encourage your son to have all the hope.

How is he doing ? And how did he get injured ? My son got a spinal cord injury too and is paralyzed from the shoulders down 😩
Me too. Incomplete sci c4-7 a little over 3 years😢I have some strength and movement but still cannot walk. I'm a single mother of 4 (7-17yo) and decided to go back to college and still work (no choice). I suppose until there's a cure I gotta keep inspiring my kiddos to not give up on life nor make excuses. Everyday I want to quit, if not for them idk I wouldn't have given up already.
Hi mam i am pralized c6c7 5 year pls help me
Usaf vet. I am tried this
When will the FDA and insurance companies approve the Epidural Stimulation?
As of March 2022 medicare and medicaid now covers spine stimulators and the surgery. I hope to get a ''Stimo'' surgically implanted next month , in April.
I know someone who got epidural stimualtion. He said its really good but he's very close to being complete so all he can do with is lift his leg.
I honestly don't think they want to lose all the money attached to sci, therapies, equipment, medication, hha, etc though I'm certainly hopeful the fda does soon! It'll be a game changer for millions of people 🙌🏽
How about the Northwestern injectable? That looked like it had hope, no news in years...
I love you too walk again.
First, kkkkk
