That is partially correct. Mine did not come with remote start. However this capability is available in very nearly all of the 2008 to 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan's and Chrysler Town and Country minivans. My van's from 2013. You could use Appcar ahead of making any programming changes to verify you can add remote start to your van. appcar-diagfca.com/en/diy/remote-start/chrysler-and-dodge-minivans/ If that feature isn't found in your van's computers you'll have to add a third party remote start kit. But, this process saves a lot of time and money, and is worth trying. Also, at least on my van, I was able to enable the four wheel tire pressure display by just enabling it on the van's computer. I can now bring up a display showing me all four tires air pressure, and if I do have a low tire, instead of just getting the low tire pressure warning indicator, I'm shown which tire is low. Other mods can be a bit hardware intensive to perform, so I've not bothered with them.
@James Doty thanks I'll check it out as for a remote start I had to order one and install it myself on my 2014 grand Caravan sxt but I also have a 2013 dodge journey sxt 3.6l I can look up before ordering a remote starter for it.

@@Relevantminded I like this option. You don't have to do any wiring, and it's very fast to set up.
I was looking into after market remote start systems when I found out about enabling built in remote start.
