Julia Dubitz I use one 500g tub of mascapony cheese, three pints of (semi skimmed) whipping cream, one or two cups of sugar, 400g tub of nutella, one small bag of hazelnuts 6 cups of (Nice) coffee, two packets of lady fingers (20) per pack and I use half a bottle of ameretto 35cl. This makes 15 generous portions. Whip your sugar, nutella, mascapony and cream in a mixer (not too thick nor too thin) layer some of the whipped cream into the bottom of dish. Mix the coffee with the ameretto in a container - make sure it's hot when you dip the ladyfingers/sugar fingers (3-4 seconds) and fill the dish, layer more cream on top and repeat for another layer. Finish with more cream (swirl the cream around on the top layer with a spoon) looks prettier than a flat top adding a sprinkle of cocco powder and (crushed up) toasted or plain hazelnuts. Bang it in the fridge for 2 hours before serving or better still over night for to maximise the flavor and presentation. 10 minutes work. Cost you less than a tenner.

Hey Laura! Just made this awesome cheesecake for the 10th time for my Festival Eid. It's been an extremely rich and delicious dessert every single time..also super expensive. I've learnt to make sure I cut small pieces because it is so decadent. I Love it. I do add more nutella as the cream cheese I use is tangy and lessen the sugar. Thanks for the recipe. Its a great hit at any special occasion!

Still, in the English-speaking part of the world it is pronounced as nut-ella, I think because they wanted a connection between the product's name and the ingredients. ^^

Hi Laura, I just made this cheesecake and it's absolutely amazing! Everyone really loved it. If your worried about adding that much Nutella don't worry because its the perfect amount! I do recommend more base though but that is how I prefer it.
