Does that white grounding wire on the ignition coil go back to the switch, only asking as mice chewed up the wiring and now I'm trying to figure it all out and I can't see where there was a wire attached to spade connector on the coil ?
Thank you !
thanks for well done vid.
Well explained👍
changed both coils on a 2005 gx335 kawasaki but didn't do the card thing, seems fine??
Can I use these coils on my cv25s Kohler command with the original flywheel
I didn't see you reconnect the brown and yellow wires to the spark advance module to the magneto your red whites is to it instead
I think I would have tested for spark before putting it all back together again.
Mine has an odd symptom. There is no spark with the ground plugged in. Unplug the ground and it works. Only the one side has to be unplugged to work. Perhaps the coil is defective in some way, but it works now, so just leaving it like this.
Exact same with mine. Think the coil pack harness is faulty.
Where the hell is the second one at ? Is it on the other side?
could this be why my plug on one side is black and appears to be over fueling
How do i find Coils Serial number? Or how do I order online?
Just type in " kohler v twin ignition coil " until you see one that looks just like the old one
OMG do not use this vid as your source to replace coil. Simply remove the few screws to remove the plastic engine cover and your coils are right there.
This shows far too many extra parts/screws being removed for no reason at all.
You spend more time showing bolts getting tightened than connecting coil and adjustment..you hand covers coil.
