    I test drove the Ls 1.9 litre and found it had decent power that would suffice for most use cases - commuting, road trips and it did well on steep off-road gradients in 4 high. It did not struggle at all.
    Drove the 3.0 litre (V-cross) next and noted the power difference but it was imperceptible at low revs. The 3.0 Lt would probably be better for certain use cases like towing.

      @@mistercup8280 I agree, I bought the 3.0L and you do have to rev it up to get power

      @@kalomboC i am to make a purchase, would you encourage the 1.9L or the 3.OL in your opinion my Good sir, i am live in Botswana and frequent the Kalahari and a lot of bush driving.

      @@mistercup8280 to be honest the only reason I got the 3.0L was my ego 😁 (& the 18" rims).
      The 1.9L is a great engine and is unbelievably fuel efficient. These are pickups not sports cars - if it can carry a tonne, tow a couple, load up the wife & kids and cross the country it's value for money!

    In the UK they have recognised that the 1.9 is weak as piss and offer a power upgrade for £800 but even with this upgrade the gearing is just too short in 1st and 2nd so it still feels gutless and noisey when pulling away with any sort of gusto, hopefully it will be as reliable as the old 3.0 or 2.5 thats my experience has an owner hope this helps

      The 1.9L is from 2015 and is as reliable as the 3.0L

    • @manwell235
      @manwell235 7 месяцев назад +2

      The 1.9L is not new and has been in use since the previous generation. Feedback from owners have been positive about fuel consumption and reliability.
      The small capacity is also an advantage in countries that impose tax based on engine capacity, for example my country Malaysia. The annual road tax difference between a 2.5 and 1.9 is very noticeable.

    why do people don't drive Manuals anymore . i would think Manuals are cheaper to fix than auto's ???

      Creating a capitalistic revolving business model in the industry of repairs and sales with a promise of an easier drive whilst claiming to be fuel efficient. I could be wrong though. In a nutshell automatics are great in traffic for city folks 😄. I own manual though as I am still old school and enjoy the interaction of man and metal beast

      Unlike popular belief there is quite a population of White people doing well and living their lives perfectly in Zimbabwe. History is in the past and all we can do is embrace today. There was even a white mayor somewhere and just a handful of white politicians
