- Performers start a scene based on an audience suggestion. At random moments, music plays, and the performers must stop talking and begin dancing. When the music stops, they immediately return to their dialogue without missing a beat. The game challenges focus, adaptability, and physicality in improv.
How to Play:
1. Start the Scene: Performers begin a dialogue based on the audience suggestion.
2. Music Cue: When music starts, performers stop talking and dance. The type of dance is up to them but should align with their character.
3. Music Stops: When the music stops, performers immediately resume their dialogue as if nothing happened.
Repeat: This pattern of alternating between talking and dancing continues.
This Improv Comedy Games show was played by the Nautankibaaz Improv Collective (Anshu Daga, Ankur Sardana, Ankur Nigam and Sumit Mehta) at The Canvas Laugh Club in 2019.
